Ambilight TV - Fantastic!
After already purchasing a Philips Ambilight TV for another room in my house I knew I wouldn’t be disappointed. The ambilight feature on top of the fantastic quality sound and picture is the icing on the cake. The extended guarantee from Richer Sounds makes it great value for money too.

Richer Sounds & Philips 50" TV - Perfect Match
I bought this 2 weeks ago after I had phoned the Glasgow branch and the Manager John answered my call and talked me through the options for my new TV for my new summerhouse.
He listened to my needs and budget and found me the perfect TV which has a great picture and I think the sound is more than enough for my room. He also got me the wall mounted bracket which has been used and my new TV looks great on the wall
I would recommend anyone to try Richer Sounds and stop the monopoly of the big electrical giants who give no personal service like RS

Easy set up, mostly good so far
Straight out of the box it was easy to set up, and seems packed with useful apps, Picture is bright and clear. Not yet completely convinced with Ambilight.
Have experienced some lag with scrolling between Freeview Channels and the occasional lack of channel (scroll back and scroll forward sorted this in most cases)
HDMI ARC connection to my existing Sound Bar has been patchy (previous TV connected optically) however this may be due to using 8 year HDMI cables that whilst being good quality may not be HDMI ARC compliant (did not know this was a thing but have ordered a new cable)

Bought this as a second tv as lg had stopped working. it is a great tv for the price good picture great upscaling also has dolby atmos and dolby vision
.the lg that stopped working was purchased from Richer Sounds four years ago with their six year warranty received a very good settlement on old lg tv everyone I dealt with extremely helpful terrific old fashioned service would buy from Richer Sounds again and recommend to family and friends .
