HDR to the max, with HDR10+
For the highest quality picture, HDR10+ offers scene-by-scene HDR mastering for the truest, most accurate HDR picture technology to date. With HDR10+ each scene is optimised, meaning the maximum amount of detail is shown – even in the brightest or darkest moments. The 55OLED706 also supports standard HDR10 and HLG formats.

With HDMI 2.1 connectivity at its heart, the Philips 55OLED706 has many features that makes it the ideal choice for gaming. Once connected to one of the HDMI 2.1 sockets, ultra-low-latency mode is automatically selected when begining game play. Excellent retail service
Tried to buy a OLED TV online with Richer Sounds and was told that the said item was only available at store. Proceeded to speak to Steve at Romford store who was extremely helpful both technically and from a customer experience angle. Only picked up the TV last week and super impressed.

Great picture and sound
I bought this after moving house and thought I'd treat myself. It turned out better than I expected. Picture and Sound are fantastic. Ambilight is an added bonus.
Everyone who's seen it so far has asked hiw much and where to get it, which tells its own story. Really pleased with the purchase

Outstanding.
I've had this TV less than a week, but I am confident enough to say it is utterly fantastic. The OLED screen is so crisp and sharp. I had a Samsung 4K LED TV prior to this, but the Philips is in a different league altogether. You read reviews with phrases like 'deep blacks', but it's not until you see it for yourself do you realise the difference between a backlit TV and this. There is no colour leakage, no white patches round the edges of the screen.
The processor is quick and menus, etc. can be navigated quickly and efficiently.
I can't comment on sound or gaming, as I use a separate AV Amp and don't game. That said, the sound through the amp from the ARC/TV Out is a ten-fold improvement on the Samsung, with the surround sound speakers working to their full effect.
To summarise, it is an expensive set, yes, but with most things, you get what you pay for. I'd definitely recommend it.

Audio Sync a big problem
Tv eventually arrived and soon after set up it was very noticeable that the audio sync was way off, done all Google searches and back intouch with richer sounds and only after a few days it is going back, unwatchable tv but dvd is OK. Picture is outstanding I don't have a problem with that, catch up apps work then don't work and remote control has a mind of its own, hopefully it's a faulty TV but since looking up its problems it seem like a lot of people have had the same thing happen to them

Fantastic picture quality and great AI
I haven't had this tv long but so far it's fantastic the picture quality is fantastic the colours are brilliant and vibrant. I love the AI within the TV the way that it detected my xbox console and changed/enabled all the advanced features of the TV was great, the ambilight is nice in game mode it does work well its subtle but noticeable, the sound quality is more then good enough and loud enough and the ease of use is great. Would definitely recommend this TV to anyone for the price it's a brilliant TV.

Awesome picture and sound.
Had the TV a week now. Delivery was only 2 working days. The picture is amazing and the sound is the best I've heard since old style CRT TVs. Lots of picture adjustments if you like to mess around but great out of the box.

Amazing screen, a little complicated to set up.
The TV I went for was the 55" OLED 706, the quality of the picture, vivid colours and depth to the images drew me to, perfect for film nights and with the 120Hz refresh and HMDI 2.1 ideal for gaming too. The set up was slightly more complicated than expected with various manual controls for channel set up etc, but the effort is well worth it with the TV performing amazingly on all fronts.
