Dedicated CD transport section
Every part of the Primare CD35 is designed to work in harmony with one another. This begins with the state-of-the-art Teac transport. Rather than using a basic CD-ROM device, Primare has chosen this dedicated CD transport. As a dedicated CD drive, levels of jitter are extremely low, meaning it supplies the DAC (Digital to Analogue Convertor) with the cleanest signal possible.

Reference quality DAC
Matching the transport’s quality, Primare has chosen a reference quality, ESS Sabre DAC. This 8-channel device boasts exception signal resolution and, just like the transport, has vanishingly low levels of distortion.

High levels of connectivity
For outputting the signal to your amp, you’ve a choice of balanced XLR/Cannon or RCA phono outputs. If you’re using the CD35 with a matching Primare 35 series amp, we’d highly recommend using the XLR sockets as this will give you the cleanest signal and lowest distortion. Optical and coaxial digital outputs are both standard. For system control there’s a 12v trigger socket, RS232 and IR in/outputs.

Add a streamer
The CD doesn’t stop at being a high quality CD player. Thanks to modular integration, you can slot-in Primare’s SM35 Prisma, streaming module. This lets you extend the CD player to one that also streams music.
