Putting great sound first
Following on from the award-winning Debut Carbon, the Debut Carbon EVO takes the best in its class and makes it better. With a heavier platter, new motor suspension and improved damping, the sound quality is better than ever. Height adjustable feet make it easier to get the deck perfectly level, while electronic speed control adds to the convenience factor. A wide range of new finishes completes the thorough evolution of a classic.
Better damped for quieter, noiseless operation
The Debut Carbon has always used a dense, MDF plinth for low resonance, low distortion sound. The new EVO model features a heavier platter with incorporated TPE damping. The result is even better damping, giving lower background noise, enhanced detail and a more lifelike sound quality.
Perfectly positioned – with adjustable feet
With height adjustable feet, it’s now easier than ever to get the deck perfectly level – helping the tonearm and stylus track as accurately as possible. There are now three, rather than four feet, meaning the deck is dynamically balanced for greater stability. Rather than plastic, the feet are now made from heavy-duty metal.
Electronic speed control
For ease of use, the Debut Carbon EVO now uses electronic speed control. Rather than having to lift the platter and manually change the belt position on the pulley, a change from 33 to 45 speed happens at the click of a switch. A 78rpm belt is also included (78rpm stylus is recommended but not included).
Carbon fibre tonearm for a clearer connection to your music
A classic signature feature of the original model that has been carried through is the carbon tonearm. Usually found on more expensive turntables, this provides significant benefits to the sound quality. Being stiffer than steel, the tonearm is more rigid, which helps reproduce the music more accurately. In short, the music sounds tighter, punchier and more detailed.
Ortofon 2M cartridge included
Matching the quality of the deck and tonearm, the Debut Carbon EVO is supplied with an Ortofon 2M Red cartridge. Usually priced at around £100 on its own, this top quality cartridge ensures a high standard of connection with your records. The highly polished, tipped elliptical diamond gives excellent tracking without causing excessive wear to your vinyl.

With nine different finishes, there’s a Debut Carbon EVO to suit every style. Choose between Gloss Black, Red or White for high-shine appeal. Alternatively, select satin versions of Satin Black, Satin Golden Yellow, Satin Green, Satin Steel Blue or Satin White. For a more traditional style, there’s also a version available in Walnut Veneer, too.
