The perfect upgrade for your existing K3 amp
If you already own a K3 Amp then this power amp makes the ideal upgrade. There are two ways you can utilise the K3 Power Amp. Either use your existing amp as a pre-amp and run as a pre/power combo. This gives each section its own power supply and casing for enhanced detail and lower distortion. Alternatively, if you have bi-wirable speakers, you can use one amp to run the 'treble' and the other for the 'bass' in bi-amped mode. This greatly improves the speaker control and significantly broadens the sound stage. Buy a second K3 Power Amp and you can even tri-amp; giving astonishing control and resolution.

As well as being the ideal match for a Roksan system, the K3 Power Amp works well with other brands, too. With a choice of RCA phono or balanced XLR inputs it's compatible with pretty much any pre-amp. Well Built Power Amp
I have a K3 Integrated amp which I am happy with, but with the offer of £499 for the K3 power amp, I thought it was worth a punt.
We set the power amp up initially as a pre/power with our pmc fb1i floorstanding speakers using just one set of speaker cables from the power amp. That sounded fine.
We then set the system up with the K3 int. amplifier connected to the tweeters and the K3 power amp driving the woofers (remember to take out the jump lead cables on the speaker connections!)
Bi-amped & bi-wired suits the system nicely.
The K3 power amplifier gets a little warm, so requires plenty of space.
We have had no issues with the K3 power amplifier, if unused it goes into standby after a few minutes , and comes out of standby when the music starts.
The improvement in the sound quality is subtle as the K3 integrated amplifier already has a great sound and plenty of grunt. A wider soundstage, increased definition and a little more refinement.
Definitely worth £500!
Richer Sounds allowed us to audition the unit at home, this is essential when demoing new gear for us. Thank you Richer Sounds and the guys at the Nottingham branch.

Roksan K3 Power Amp
The Roksan K3 power amplifier is a perfect match for the K3 intergrated amplifier to bi-amp speakers and Monitor Audio gives a 5 year warranty with the K3 line which I used on the K3 intergrated just under the 5 year period and they totally recapped and replaced other parts so you don't get any problems with repairs which is a big plus this day and age. The power amp sounds the same as the K3 intergrated and has enough power to drive most speakers and can be used as a stand alone power amplifier for other uses (Home Cinema, DJ / Studio or add to a pre amp) At the monent Richersounds are selling them for £499 and at that price you won't find a better new power amplifier.

I recently wanted a new hi-fi system to play my old vinyls so rang Richer Sounds team . The advise they gave me was spot on and no heavy pressured sales patter. I end up getting a great deal on Roskan K3 products great sound quality at at great price.

Just bought two Roksan k3 power amps from RS and at this price I'm in heaven, I got them to replacing my old Audiolab power amps of twenty plus yrs, I think my love of music has found its rebirth, i am the Messiah and my the missus for once doesn't disagree, fab

Great sound and service!
I had advice from Damien at Richer Sounds Brighton Store, for Roksan K3 Power amp and Integrated amp last year, great sound.Unfortunately, the power amp failed after having it working for a year, and after more advice, i brought it back instore, Damien had a quick check, and no quibles replaced it for a NEW roksan 3 power amp.I am pleased to say i am very grateful for such wonderful service and advice.Thank you Damien and Richer Sounds from a very happy customer.

Nice sounding amp with problems
Bought this amp in sept and had problems with it going into protection mode intermittently, I know the rudaments of electricity so ruled out incorrect wiring etc and confirmed it by the amp doing the same whilst nothing was connected, richer sounds as usual were very good and swapped it but the same happend only this time I was using it at a second address with my father's ancillaries also doing the same when not wired up at all.
I took it back but refused a third as I suspected a batch fault so a lovely guy fully refunded me on which I bought my original choice the acram sa30 of which there hasn't been any issues.
The roskan was without Bluetooth which I accepted as it reflected the price but it also hasn't got a standbye mode ether which isn't documented and largely unknown.
ROSKAN via the monitor audio group confirmed this via phone which in turn is online, standby used more than the allowed wph so roskan took it out.
Non of that bothered me either as the brief time it did work combined with demo I had it sounded very nice indeed, which ment I was disappointed I never got a good one.
I've since gotten the older version from Peter Tyson with both Bluetooth although I bypass it with a ifizen streamer which sounds better and standby for the living room and it works flawlessly, I prefer the acrams warm sound and it's exhaustive connectivity with its very good saber chip so a separate streamer isn't needed but they are different types of sound rather than one being a better sounding amp.
I will say the acram although rated at 120watts per channel is much more powerful as I have a hard to drive pair of vintage speakers.
ROSKAN should of left the k3 alone, a chip shortage isn't a good enough excuse for an amp north of 1000 £, nor is removing standby mode acceptable.
Richer sounds still remains one of my preferred hifi dealers and I won't hesitate to purchase from them again.
