"The brilliant Denon AVR-X3300W will take any mid-range home cinema system to the next level " 'What Hi-Fi? award winner 2016'. 5-star review.
Immerse yourself in sound, with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X*
Dolby Atmos uses ceiling or upwards firing speakers to produce a multi-dimensional, immersive sound that's a match for the finest cinemas. DTS:X literally pushes the boundaries of what you can expect from home cinema. This highly sophisticated processor renders images in three dimensions that conventional processing can't match. It also offers other advantages such as the ability to boost the spatial effect of conventional DTS and easily adapts with your existing speaker configuration.
Optimised for 4K UHD and HDR
The AVRX3300W features the latest HDMI connections and supports HDCP 2.2, HDR and BT.2020, which means you can play UHD Blu-ray discs and stream UltraHD video. It's also equipped with 4K upscaling, giving you the most detailed picture on your 4K TV from all sources. The HDMI sockets allow 4K pass-through, for hassle free switching and viewing without the receiver needing to be turned on.
High-Resolution audio compatible
As well as offering an intense movie experience, the Denon AVR-X3300W is also compatible with High-Resolution Audio. This offers a sound that's far more natural sounding than standard audio. The Denon AVRX3300W supports a wide range of HiRes format files including DSD (2.8/5.6MHz), FLAC, ALEC, AIFF and WAV. It even supports gapless playback for music free from glitches.
Advanced multi-room functionality including HDMI split zones
The Denon AVRX3300W is the first AVR in their range with dual, independent HDMI outputs. This means you can run audio and video to another screen, in another room independently from the main output. An RS232 socket and DC trigger make this receiver ideal for more complex home installation systems. Both passive and active Zone 2 outputs are also standard, for audio in a second room.
The AVRX3300W takes the strong connectivity of the AVRX2300W model and improves upon it still further. With the addition of a 7.1 channel, RCA output you can split the processing from the power amplification and send the signal to suitable power amps of your choice. Matching the twin optical inputs are two further coaxial digital inputs.
Denon 2016 AVR Remote
Available for Apple iOS, Android and Kindle Fire, the latest Denon control app is better than ever. It gives speedy access to the receiver's controls as well as the set-up menu. It also offers quick access to the receiver's status display, option menus and will even control a Denon Blu-ray player. You can load up an online owner's manual for your convenience, while the new queue management feature means you can browse and add new tracks to the playlist on the go.
Bluetooth, AirPlay, DLNA and built-in wi-fi for the complete networking experience
With both Bluetooth and AirPlay connectivity it's easy to connect up all your smartphones, tablets and compatible lap/desktops and stream music wirelessly. The AVRX3300W also comes with Wi-Fi, Internet radio and DLNA. Simply connect to your home network via Ethernet or Wi-Fi and access thousands of Internet radio sites via vTuner as well as subscription services such as Spotify Connect. DLNA 1.5 compatibility lets you stream from other sources such as your laptop or NAS drive.
Audyssey Silver - making set-up precise and simple
Featuring the Audyssey Silver suite of DSP (Digital Sound Processing) functions, the AVRX3300W can be set-up with precison. The Silver suite includes Audyssey's MultEQ XT32 technology. The XT32 version of this automatic measuring and set-up device features extra modes and offers the option to measure from eight points for super-accurate room measuring.
Enhancing the picture, sound and connectivity of your home entertainment system, the Denon AVR-X3300W is the complete package.
*DTS-X available via future firmware update from Denon.
