Twin tuners unlock all sorts of clever tricks for TV fans. You can record one channel whilst watching another, or even record two channels at once.
A Smart TV is the ultimate entertainment for this connected age. They can play videos from the Internet, including BBC iPlayer, or show off content from your smartphone or tablet on the big screen.

If you have a wireless network at home, this unit can hook up to it straight away, without you having to connect additional cables or buy a "dongle" or other accessory.
USB sockets allow you to do all sorts of things. Most commonly you can play media stored on a flash drive, but some units can record to one too or connect accessories like video-calling cameras.

Complicated controlsThis was very easy to set up especially as I have a Panasonic TV, however, I found the controls on the remote are not easy to decipher especially when you wish to view something you have recorded.
There is no button to press to go straight to recording like on the Humax remote control, one has to go through a couple of button presses before you get to where you want.
Perhaps after a while you will get used to it but surely Panasonic could have and indeed should have made it easier

Disappointing overallI'd echo most other reviewers' positive comments on this box. Good picture, good range of functions, inc. web browser facility BUT unfortunately the live Pause/Rewind/Fast Forward options leave an awful lot to be desired with significant delays experienced in switching from Live to one of these functions and between one another. Quite disappointing and if you're looking for a seamless transition of these aspects then I'd suggest looking at something else (e.g. my current BT Youview box is perfect for this). For this reason alone I do not recommend this product.
