Famous brand speakers with a deep, powerful bass - the Tannoy Eclipse Two gives you more for less.
With their larger, floorstanding cabinets, the Tannoy Eclipse Two speakers are perfectly suited to medium and larger rooms. Their easy-going characteristics also make them the ideal match for budget separates or mini systems alike. Match up with other Eclipse speakers and they can also make the basis for an impressive value home cinema speaker package.
Thanks to their large cabinets and long-throw bass units, the Eclipse 2 reaches deep bass notes that similarly priced standmount speakers simply can't match. This gives rock the power it demands and Classical music the full dynamic potential to properly portray an orchestra in full flight.
Tannoy drive units for natural sound
For a smooth treble response, the Tannoy Eclipse Two uses soft dome tweeters. These go higher up the frequency range than usual, with the 32kHz range giving the sound a smooth yet detailed balance. Matching this, the 5-inch woofer units provide a natural midrange for convincingly life-like vocals.
Heavyweight cabinet for low distortion
These might be Tannoy's most affordable floorstanding speakers but that doesn't mean compromised build quality. The heavyweight fibreboard cabinet minimises distortion, giving a pure and detailed sound that's free from cabinet 'boom'. Further quality details that you might not expect from budget speakers include gold-plated cable posts and quality crossovers with close tolerance components.
Finished in a black oak effect, the Tannoy Eclipse Two is a classic design that's designed to fit in with all types of decors. Silver detailing makes the speakers stand out or, for a more discreet look, simply attach the supplied grilles.
Super-size your sonic experience and hear the bigger picture, with the Tannoy Eclipse Two.

|Speaker Enclosure Type||Type of speaker enclosure. Infinite baffle cabinets are sealed and so are often less fussy about placement. Usually they do require a little more power to drive, though. Bass reflex speakers are usually more efficient than infinite baffle designs but may require more care in terms of placement. Rear port designs, in particular, usually need at least 15-30cm (6 - 12 inches) between them and the wall behind, for a balanced bass response. ABR = Auxcillary Bass Radiator (looks like a standard bass cone but without power)||Bass reflex - rear port|
