"A winning combination of great sound and noise isolation make these AKGs ideal travel companions."What Hi-Fi Sound & Vision Award Winner 2015

Active noise cancellation for total involvement
Combined with the super-soft ear pads, the active noise cancellation blocks pretty much all outside noise. If you travel by 'plane, train or coach, noise cancellation headphones make all the difference. Quiet sections of music are now audible and the whole travel experience becomes more restful than ever before.

Quality AKG sound
With more of the music's detail to the fore, you don't have to turn the volume as loud. Yet, when you do want to crank up the volume, the N60NC's are more than ready. Au ultra-wide frequency response and high sensitivity means these AKG headphones can easily be driven to high levels by a modest phone or portable player. They also have a strong, powerful bass response that you'd expect from AKG.

Great travel companions
Much thought has gone in to making the AKG N60 NC's the ideal headphones for music on the move. The N60 NCs can be re-charged from any USB port - ideal if you travel with a laptop. Once charged, the headphones are good for up to 30 hours - enough for the longest of journeys or a weekly commute. They'll also still work in passive mode, even when there's no charge left, meaning you need never be without music. With a solid construction and a unique 3D-Axis folding mechanism, the N60's have been designed for a tough life on the move. A carry pouch protects them when packed away.

Hear the music, wherever you are, with the AKG N60NC.

AKG N60NC is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 27.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great sound, poor build I like everything about these headphones - portability, noise cancelling, sound quality - apart from one thing: the build quality. After less than a year of use (5 days per week), the covering on the foam started to rip. The inner part of the foam is now no longer covered. For 200 quid, I expected better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I swear it's witchcraft. Bought these earphones for travelling as I am frequently travelling 20 hours in planes. They have just got me to the falklands refreshed, relaxed. And I swear I am 10 years younger too.... OK the last bit is rubbish. Really comfortable to wear. The noise cancellation is amazing. Used them as intended as headphones but also when reading just to take away aircraft noise. I love these and cannot recommend them enough.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product My son has a pair of these headphones so I knew what I was getting, exactly what What Hi-Fi say in their review.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great headphones You get what you have paid for! Excellent product. My wife has a hearing problem but these headphones are brilliant

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good sound, short cable Great sound, even though not yet fully run-in. Films are particularly impressive. The noise cancelling function doesn't seem to cancel much noise, but not an issue for me. Very comfortable. But - 1.2m cable is useless in mist domestic setting, though I guess okay for a mobile device. Had to buy an extension cable, but Maplins don't do a long one with gold connectors etc., so I still only have 2.7m of cable, which is a bit marginal. .

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better still to have a charging socket It would be better to have a separate charging socket so that the unit can be charged whilst in use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good audio quality and noise cancellation Bought this for commuting. Light and comfortable. Good bass and trebles. Noise cancellation not vacuum like that of the Bose - which is why I bought this. Didn't want super efficient NC for commuting due to wanting to hear train announcements and sirens!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent sound, lightweight and with effective noise cancelling feature . An excellent pair of on ear headphones, sound quality is first class and the noise cancelling feature is brilliant. Used them in a plane and train where all background noise was suppressed. They are light on the ear and are very comfortable for long journeys. Highly recommend.
