This page is intended to demonstrate the incredible value of our 6 Year Supercare. Under recent legislation, we are obliged to point out that you obviously do not need to purchase an extended warranty at the same time you purchase your electrical goods and are entitled to shop around. We have been encouraging our customers to do just that for years because, not only are our prices significantly cheaper than our competitors, but just look at what else we include:

Free loan machine (Subject to availability. Only if taken back to store)
Should you encounter a problem, just ask and you'll be provided with a unit to ensure you're not without music whilst your equipment is being fixed.

Like for like machine if unit is unrepairable
If, for any reason, we are unable to repair your unit, we'll replace it. Naturally, models do change so, while we can't guarantee that it will be the same model, we do guarantee that it will have equivalent specifications.

Free routine service / Maintenance checks
have your unit serviced as often as you wish, free of charge, during the 6 year period. (Normally excluded from extended guarantees).

45 day cooling off period
If you're not happy with our 6 Year Supercare package just ask for a full refund - no questions asked. After 45 days, providing no claim has been made, you can also terminate the agreement and receive a pro-rata refund.

If you use the policy in the 6 years, you'll have saved yourself tens and perhaps hundreds of pounds. If you don't use it... IT WON'T COST YOU A THING!*

* Simply return your unused Supercare policy within one month of the expiration date, and we'll refund the price of your warranty.

Quality sound matched with ease of use makes the Denon DP300 a classic all-rounder.

Quality construction for the best sound

Using a 4mm-thick cabinet, the Denon DP300's plinth offers both rigidity and high density for the lowest levels of distortion. The aluminium platter also gives much better sonic results than plastic. Finished in gloss black it looks a cut above more basic decks and is the ideal match for your other, full-width, Hi-Fi separates.

High performance tonearm and cartridge
Compatible with a wide range of cartridges, the straight tonearm used by the DP300 offers superior tracking ability. A good quality MM (Moving Magnet) cartridge is included in the package to get you started with minimum fuss.

Fully automatic for ease of use
Unlike more minimalist decks, the DP300 combines great sound quality with total ease of use. Simply select the size of the record and the tonearm starts at just the right place. It also features auto-return, so you don't need to worry about damaging the stylus at the end of the record.

Connect up to any system with an AUX input
The built-in phono stage means that you don't even need to use an amplifier or system with a dedicated turntable input - any system with an AUX input in will do.

Get the best sound, hassle-free, with the Denon DP300.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from plays well great sound and looks good I would buy this record deck to anybody who is looking to buy one

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First-class fundamental Grammophon Owning a Pro-ject Debut Carbon Esprit with added Pro-ject 'bolt-on upgrades' as one's 'primary system', I wanted a second deck for my bedroom. There is one big 'let-down' with most 'high-end' and 'mid-range' decks: automation and this is one thing I seriously under-estimated in the past. One found one couldn't relax as one was always waiting to 'jump-up' at the end of play to lift the tonearm to prevent stylus/cantilever/record damage: hence automation was a prime factor. The Denon DP300 has a lovely smooth automation and is precise on stylus placement and retraction at the end. The whole deck is well manufactured and well engineered with a 'solid feel'. The cartridge and internal EQ amp perform well within prescribed parameters; although one will add an external phono-stage and upgraded cartridge at a later date but that-said there's no urgency as it's reproduction has impeccable manners. Very pleased. Only one comment is the embedded solid phono cable instead of RCA sockets

Rated 4 out of 5 by from DENON DP300 This is a great deck! Very easy to set up and use. You can play your vinyl at the touch of a button and have no need to worry about taking the stylus off at the end of the record. Its has been really good to break out our old record collection again. The sound from this deck is really good. One gripe is the built in phono stage seems pretty low. I have to turn the volume up to get a reasonable sound level. If you forget and switch to another input the speakers may suffer if you left it too high. I think I am going to invest in a decent pre amp to overcome this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great turntable and very affordable Just getting back into vinyl after a break of many years and this is the perfect start. The staff at richer sounds were incredible. Tried other stores who made me feel inadequate for not being an audiophile. I guess they miss out on my future purchases as well then.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent sound quality The record deck was easy to set up. It is easy to use. The sound quality is first class, you would have to spend a lot more money to get anything better.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sounds good, even with old 45's. I bought this on recommendation of the sales man, it was already set up and running in the shop, which meant I could hear it before I bought it. Easy to set up and use, and sounds good through the amp and speakers on even 1959 45's. Its quite large but sits above other components without looking out of sorts. Auto mode does take it too far into the single, but that's probably something I can adjust.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT TURNTABLE !!! Fantastic and elegant design, easy to install and operate, fully automatic but also with the manual option. Fantastic Hi-Fi sound quality on both modern and vintage vinyl albums. My record collection has never sounded this good. I'd recommend this turntable to anyone who thinks about rediscovering the magic of the vinyl sound.
