TV has just a whole lot more true to life - with the sensational Panasonic TX58DX902.

The future has arrived, with Ultra HD Premium

Taking UHD 4K to its maximum ability, Ultra HD Premium introduces additional compatibilities and the assurance of the highest performance possible. Highlights include full compatibility with HDR (High Dynamic Range), making this TV compatible with the exciting new 4K Blu-ray format.

See movies exactly as the director intended, with 4K PRO Studio Master UHD
Panasonic's 4K Pro brings together the latest panel technology with powerful processing - producing the most realistic pictures in its class. With Accurate Colour Drive and Studio Master Colour processors you get colour that is processed at twice the rate with 80 times the registry points for breathtaking realism. Features such as Local Dimming Pro and Black Gradation Drive boost the contrast to give the deepest blacks and brightest whites. If you want to see documentaries and nature programmes exactly as the director intended, then this is the TV for you.

Tuned and approved by Professional Hollywood Colourist
Nothing beats the immersive nature of a Hollywood blockbuster seen in all its glory, which is why Panasonic turn to Hollywood industry professionals to tune the DX902's settings. The final seal of approval comes from cinema experts THX. THX was founded by legendary film maker George Lucas, with the aim of improving cinematic experience. TVs have to pass 400 lab tests within 30 categories to receive THX certification - something that very few TVs manage to do. Except the TX-58DX902.

VR Audio Master 2.1 Surround
Although still not a match for a separate home cinema system, the sound quality on this 58 inch TV is excellent by TV standards. With a 2.1 sound system, it uses four separate speakers plus quad passive radiators to provide a fuller and richer sound. Added to this, VR-Audio Master Surround 2.1 creates a spacious and 'open' sound quality.

Effortless operation with my Home Screen 2 powered by Firefox OS and Voice Assistant
Highly rated by the reviewers, my Home Screen 2 offers an attractive and clear operating interface which is also easy to customise. By using clear, superimposed icons, it's easy to find the function you want. Better still, with just a few clicks you can get your favourite apps, web pages or even TV channels to appear on your own customised Homepage. With clarity and easy customisation, this is how Smart TV should be! Voice Assistant means you simply have to speak into the controller to bring up content and search results. For slick integration with your home automation system, the DX902 is also compatible with Control4 smart control.

Integrate your entertainment
When it comes to smart TV flexibility, the TX58DX902 has all the features you need. A wide range of web apps are complimented by a full web browser. DLNA certified streaming makes it easy to transfer music and video files from your home computer, laptop or NAS drive to the TV. Also standard is 4K Swipe and Share functionality. 4K Swipe and share lets you use the Panasonic VIERA app for smartphone media sharing. By using the app on your smartphone or tablet you can easily stream pictures, 4K videos and music straight to the TV - no cables required.

The art of design
Much more than 'just' a TV, the Panasonic TX58DX902 makes a statement in design. Sleek and clean in appearance, the TX58DX902 is also packed with fine design details, such as the textured metal bezel and elegant metal-faced feet. See it for yourself in the 'flesh' and you'll see just what we mean.

Ultimate picture quality matched to stylish design and one of the smartest operating systems about, makes the TX58DX902 the complete all-rounder.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great upgrade to a Sony 55" 4K TV but OS no longer supported Great picture quality and sound... THX certified!!! I could see a significant improvement over a 2 year old 55" Sony 4K TV. Very intuitive Mozilla OS but this is now defunct as Mozilla no longer support the TV OS which is a shame as it really is very good. OS issue aside I love this TV and would recommend it to anyone, the VFM I feel was great, I paid £1349 and a year ago it was £2800!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Recommend richer sound Tunbridge Wells Bought a Samsung KS8000 and the back started to peel away and issues with picture so went for Panasonic instead very good picture quality but lacking in voice control for apps picture takes a bit of setting up

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pansonic DX902B Purchased last week and set up was easy. Was not the cheapest TV but its delivering on all fronts - Sky HD has never looked better, SD is brilliant - sound is awesome too. Got the DMP700 DVD bundle - that is equally good Use to go to John Lewis for TVs but these guys are brilliant - John Lewis were £380 more expensive on the same bundle price. At this price the value was excellent but its an expensive TV. The feet being on the outside was a nuisance and needed a new cabinet - the leaning back nature of the TV is not a problem. And you know its quality as soon as you pick up the remote control

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic TV - does everything well. I have had the Panasonic TX58DX902B for a couple of months now and have only positive things to report. The picture quality is superb in 2d and 3d. The connectivity is top notch with multiple HDCP2.2 inputs. The apps include both Amazon and Netflix including their 4K content as well as BBC iplayer and the like. The only missing app is Now TV so I use an AppleTV box for that. The TV does a great job of upscaling HD content and has a really good colour display, especially for films. It is HDR 10 compatible, but does not have Dolby Vision so you might need to look for a different manufacturer right now if that is important to you. There are fans in the TV case, but I only hear them after I switch the TV off and do not notice them when it is in use. I do not have any negatives to report because this is a great TV: Expensive, but money well spent. I haven't tried the speakers because I pipe the sound through an AV receiver.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Lasted an hour Tv lasted an hour before it lost all power. Could not be replaced by the store as the one they had in stock had "just gone" to another customer to replace a faulty unit. Here i lie after a lung transplant operation on oxygen having to now wait three days for a replacement. Took three calls to shake up Matt who was applying no urgency whatsoever to my call for a replacement but simply going down the 3-5 working days delivery route. This is despite being a so called VIP member who has spent £2400 with these guys in the last week. Seems Panasonic have a quality issue plus Richer Sounds 'talk a good game' but don't follow it through.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Try this instead of an OLED I wouldn't have considered this TV without the advice of Tom at the Oxford branch. This TV falls slightly short of OLED quality picture but with a great up-scaler. This means that for relatively low quality media (like Netflix rather than Blu Ray) the picture is better than an OLED (unless the OLED had a high quality up scaler - which apparently they don't at this price point). I had intended to spend about £1000 on a LED TV but think this model at not far short of £2,000 is worth the extra cost. This model is I believe the only TV within full array LED meaning LEDs all over the back of the monitor rather than a LED strip around the perimeter of the screen. I hadn't read about this feature in reviews. I ended up getting the Sonos Playbar and Sub along with two Play 1 speakers to add to the rest of the Sonos system. We have had 2 previous surround sound systems. The Sonos system plus this TV is has really impressed the whole family.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Panasonic TX58DX902B A fantastic Panasonic 4k TV with great picture quality and sound quality to match. The Richer Sounds were fabulous to. I've always bought Panasonic and I've always bought from Richer Sounds- thee Home Entertainment people.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent build quality plus fantastic performance After lots of research came up with this model and had a good look at its performance. You can read specifications forever but what counts is what it does for you. Don't buy a sound bar until you listen and then decide, you'll be pleasantly surprised. The 4K broadcast on Netflix is staggering along with sky UHD downloads. Amazon video and music are also brilliant and easily accessed via HDMI 2 and firestick. The set up out of the box was almost automatic and having just had Sky Q installed has given me lots of flexibility. One minor problem which I am still trying to resolve is to get the set to mirror my IPad2. I think this is probably an Apple problem not Panasonic so that's why it didn't get 5 star on the ease of use but need to investigate further. To sum up, Its expensive but well worth it in my humble opinion. Finally the staff at Richer sounds were excellent, helpful, professional and not patronising as some other electronics shop staff can be.
