Free your music

The Optoma NuForce BTR100 Bluetooth receiver is the ideal way of listening to music from your Bluetooth-equipped device on your existing hi-fi. With a range of around 10m, the BTR100 is designed to let you hold your phone or portable device and select the track you want to listen to, without being tied by cables.

Quality components
Just as you'd expect from this top quality brand, the Optoma NuForce BTR100 uses high quality audiophile components. Combined with the high quality codecs this gives the BTR100 near CD quality sound - without wires!

aptX and AAC
aptX is the highest quality Bluetooth transmission system and means Bluetooth sounds more open and dynamic than usual. If you use an Apple device, then you can make the most of the AAC (Advanced Audio Coding) compatibility to ensure top quality sound that's a big improvement on MP3.

Remembers and stores up to eight devices
Unlike many other Bluetooth receivers, the NuForce BTR100 remembers and stores up to eight paired devices. This means you can connect up the all the family's smartphones and tablets, without having the hassle of re-pairing them each time.

Digital and analogue outputs
Featuring both optical digital and 3.5mm analogue outputs, the BTR100 is compatible with a wide range of components. Use the optical digital output for the best sound with your AV receiver or digital amp.

Get the best sound from your smartphone or tablet, with the Optoma BTR100.

OPTOMA NUFORCE BTR100 is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent sound quality This Bluetooth receiver was simplicity itself to set up and the quality of the sound it transmits to my standalone BOSE Wave unit is excellent; easily as good as a CD. Replaced the original BOSE iPod dock perfectly. The ONLY thing that is a problem is the blue LED incorporated into the unit which seems to react to a paired device coming within range and starts to flash. In the daytime, hardly worth the comment. However as the unit is in my bedroom, at night the flashing light is very bright and illuminates the whole room - the only way around this seems to be to cover the light with a book or similar. A great little unit - made my 10yr old Wave unit very contemporary and likely to get used a whole lot more again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from add bluetooth to any system with phono or optical input really simple to plug in and use, I used optical connection rather than the supplied phono lead which is fairly thin but will get you running. No password to connect and instant music from my iPhone very clear and no other noise detectable. A great solution to add bluetooth in to a system where you would have had to use a cable before. range was affected by a pretty thick wall but fine in the room.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works perfectly every time. Primary use to link tablet playing radio to Cambridge AM1 does a great job, simply with no fuss

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A brilliant way to stream your music I have many GBs of music on my NAS drive and I wanted a cheap solution to be able to hear it on my old stack system. This deals with this requirement and some. £49 and it works a treat. Simple to set up and use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good sound - easy to set up I bought this to use in conjunction with a Ruark R2i (with the iPod dock but no built in blue tooth) and it works superbly. Sound quality is every bit as good compared with the dock and further improved by the use of a decent quality Tower audio connect cable. Operationally it is very easy to set up and use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Hi Fi and Smartphone in perfect Harmony I was annoyed that my Hi Fi which plays my vinyl, CDs, mini-disks to a high standard could not reproduce my music from my Smartphone never mind the wealth of music on the internet. The Optoma Nuforce recommended in richersounds changed all that. Set up and connected in minutes and the sound is excellent. I have played the same track on vinyl, CD and from the iPad or phone and there is little or no difference in quality. I am inviting friends into hear it so they can get one.
