Bluetooth connectivity
Bluetooth connectivity means that you can connect up to your choice of Bluetooth speaker or Bluetooth-equipped Hi-Fi, wirelessly. Simply pair the turntable with your speaker and enjoy fuss-free connectivity up to a range of around 10m.
Phono pre-amp, built-in
Another advantage the BT model has over the standard Essential III is the built-in phono pre-amp. This means that when you’re using a wired connection, you can hook up to just about any Hi-Fi with an AUX input. If you’d prefer to use the phono pre-amp built into your existing amp then that’s fine, too, as the Essential III’s output can be switched to standard level.
Engineered for sound
Just like the standard version, the Pro-Ject Essential 3 BT has all the elements of a proper hi-fi turntable - just at a lower price. The low vibration DC motor gives stable speed for accurate pitch and timing. The main bearing is made from stainless steel and runs within a bronze bushing with a Teflon coating. This type of build integrity is usually reserved for much more expensive designs and gives the Essential 3 BT a remarkable precision of sound for its price.
Single piece aluminium tonearm
Continuing its hi-fi credentials, the Pro-Ject Essential III BT is supplied with a good quality tonearm. Made from a single piece of aluminium, it's both light and rigid. The more rigid the more precisely it tracks, making listening to your records a more involving experience. For long-lasting quality, the tonearm is fitted with sapphire bearings.
Ortofon OM10 fitted
Another great feature is the standard fitment of an Ortofon OM10 cartridge. This higher spec cartridge uses a finer stylus to get deeper into the groove, giving you a broader sound and more detail.
