Improved cabinet for even lower distortion
At the heart of these revised speakers is a much-improved cabinet. P2P (Point-to-Point) bracing is now deployed to enhance rigidity and reduce cabinet distortion. Reducing cabinet distortion lets the drive units operate at their optimum, giving a cleaner, purer sound.
Revised drive units
With their newly developed surrounds, the bass units are even more accurate and faster to respond. The coated paper woofer cone is light, rigid, and helps give the 3010i’s their punchy, agile sound quality. The tweeter units are decoupled from the rest of the cabinet, meaning that the treble isn’t affected by vibration from the bass unit. With clarity and purity of sound at their heart, the 3010i’s are amongst the most natural-sounding speakers in their class.

Q Acoustics Speakers
I have been buying from R S for 40 years. Just moved from Ldn to Wales and needed to down size HIFI and go more minimal and not just for reasons of space. These speakers were just perfect, not had new speakers in a long time and just amazed by the compact results. Rgds Archie

A little lacking in detail
These, and a Q Acoustics subwoofer were bought with a 2.1 Marantz AV unit to update an 18 year old Denon system. I just wanted stereo sound from small speakers alongside the TV with a gentle addition of bass from the sub. Happy with the system but had to tweak up the treble, this maybe (probably) because of my 72 year old ears LOL. The 3010is are wall mounted with Q Acoustics brackets and, being close to the rear wall, I have used the foam bungs in the rear port.
The setup is for the oft-used sitting room rather than the main lounge listening room and consequently is more background than serious listening.

clear voice and good musicaly
Purchased these speakers to complement a Q Acoustics Q3010i center speaker for surround sound. Excellent, clear voices.
Tried with a Marantz Amp and Cd player. good sound . excellent at the price

Astonishingly Musical
At the price, and given the positive reviews, I thought that these would be worth trying for my office set-up (Cyrus Streamer with Cyrus 6 Dac).
I had some concern about placement on desktop and possible 'brightness' when matched with the Cyrus.
Not a bit of it. Straight out of the box and placed close to wall with no bungs the sound is superbly balanced. So much so I really forget they are there and simply listen to the music. Have being going for over one week and used every day playing Linn Classical, R3, Radio Paradise and a wide selection of blues, jazz, and rock lossless flac files. All presented with the same detail and depth which I am astonished at given the speaker size. QA clearly know how to design and implement a great quality budget speaker, just stunning value (even at twice the MRP!).

Just brilliant
Bought as part of 5.1 set up with 3090ci and 3010i speakers. Clear, with nice bass even without the subwoofer accompanying. Great for music or films. Solid and well made. If you need brackets to wall mount, they look and sit best on the custom brackets available. Overall I am most impressed.

Surprising all rounder
Having already splashed out on a 5.1 system featuring these as 'rears', I decided to replace an aging set of Wharfdale Diamonds in my conservatory with these. As rear speakers these are great units but you only really get to hear them properly when used as stand alone units. They really are nice units, the bass (albeit in a small room), is decently punchy and the sound, as with the other Q3000i speakers, is a lovely free flowing sound. My Denon AVRX2600 seems to power these Q Acoustics with no effort at all. Add to that, that the speakers look great too and they seem unbeatable at the price to me.

Great speakers
I bought these as an upgrade for my 3010's and am not disappointed one bit.
They are slightly larger , the same super finish cabinets and the sound! It just gets better every time I play music

Knocks the sock off my old setup
I had an old Tannoy 5.1 setup paired with my Yamaha AVR-V6A amp and thought that was good.
When I replaced them with these speakers and a 3090CI centre speaker, I realised how much of a sound upgrade it was.
Couldn't be happier.
