A built-in 2 x 65 watt amplifier means these speakers are ready to go – no additional amp required. The powerful amplifier is perfectly tuned to the speakers, meaning they’ll perform at their very best with all types of music. Powerful enough for even larger rooms, the M20 packs quite a punch.
Connect your other sources
Connectivity is key with these active speakers. As well as Bluetooth and USB connections, there’s also a Hi-Res compatible optical digital input. This is perfect for connecting your TV or games console. For other music sources, such as a CD player or turntable with built-in phono pre-amp, use the stereo RCA or 3.5mm inputs.
Driven to sound better
Highly developed drive units make these speakers stand out from the class. At the top end, the tweeter units are decoupled from the rest of the cabinet, meaning that the treble isn’t affected by vibration from the bass unit. Excellent active speakers
I bougth the M20s to sit on my desk and run off the laptop or phone. Never used active speakers before and I am very impressed with the depth and clarity of sound. They are quite large and take up a bit of space but happy to trade this off for the sound quality. Good to hear them in the store prior to purchase and good service as usual from Richer Sounds Bristol.

Q Acoustics M20
I recently purchased a pair of the M20's following the demise of my existing pair of active speakers after some ten years of use. The M20's were selected due to the excellent reviews I had seen, and because they had all the various inputs I needed. After just 24 hours I can honestly say that those reviews were spot on. These loudspeakers are fantastic - they look good and sound awesome. So, one very happy customer.

Blew me away out of the box
They arrived this afternoon. Setup took a few minutes and I was testing them with Spotify over Bluetooth from iPhone.
The clarity of sound is amazing. The depth of bass in The Planets Suite: Mars and Jon Hopkins Singularity doesn’t swamp the warm mid tones and complexity in the rest of the range. They are loud, but controlled and the sound focuses in the area in front of them but doesn’t spill out too much, which is ideal for their use in an office / bedroom setup where you don’t want to disturb the rest of the house.
Mine are on open backed shelves about 20cm from the wall, with about 10cm space left and right and 5cm above, spaced about 1.5m apart, either side of my monitor.
They look great, sound amazing and richer sounds beat a better price on Amazon by £10.
