Unlike most subwoofers, the 3060S doesn’t take the form of a bulky cube. Instead, this super-slim subwoofer is just 150mm wide – making it one of the slimmest subwoofers available. Great Sub, and looks great.
Purchased the sub a couple of weeks ago now and it is so much better than a previous sub I had that just wasn't working as it should. It's just the right size and sounds great.

Attracted to this by its dimensions as well as reviews. Nice slim unit so doesn’t dominate the part of the room it is ticked away in. Sounds good too. Love the metal plate over the connectors etc held on by magnets.

My previous Cambridge Audio and Wharfedale SW 150 products both failed in under two years due to poor quality low-voltage circuitry inside. I do hope Q Acoustics takes more care with selecting (and constantly monitoring like a hawk) their PCB suppliers and the components they're actually fitting. Consequently, I only bought this because Richer Sounds offered a 6 year warranty... nice! Strangely, Q Acoustics does not list the power consumption anywhere in the documentation, which surely must contravene regulations for selling electrical products? I want to know how much electricity this thing uses in standby!

Great product and not just in performance, but it looks good too. The one I have is finished in Walnut and looks good against the existing furniture and being slim it fits right in.

Great addition to hifi system
I bought the subwoofer 3 weeks ago to complement my hifi. Already have Q Acoustics 3020i speakers in walnut finish which sound great but just wanted a bit extra oomph. This unit looks superb and sounds very good as part of the set up. You can easily adjust the balance so the bass doesn't drown out the speakers but adds another layer to the sound.
The guys at Richer Sounds gave great advice about what my system could handle which made me settle for the sub rather than floorstanding speakers. Good deal, not overly expensive and rounds off a pretty decent system without breaking the bank. Have a Teac turntable and Yamaha MusicCast amp together with the Q Acoustics all from Richer Sounds. Will definitely buy from them again if I upgrade.

Hmmmmmmmmm
Hmmm, it hums quite loudly, not sure about it, will check out if I’ve done something wrong, but it ruins the whole thing for me. Also the stupid metal cover for the cables wasn’t designed by someone who had actual cables in front of them, unless they were blind.
