The interface is also compatible with MQA and MQA Studio files (up to 24 bit/384kHz). You’ll find this increasingly popular file format used by high-end streamers, such as TIDAL, making the RA1592 MKII even more flexible.

High quality, wireless connectivity
With a Bluetooth receiver built-in, you can stream music from your smartphone, tablet or other compatible device, wirelessly. Studio quality Balanced XLR inputs
Just like you’ll find in professional studios around the world, the RA-1592MKII is fitted with a set of Balanced XLR inputs. These link up with a compatible CD player, streamer or other device to give you a top quality, low-loss connection. Because the cable configuration uses a separate earth, the signal is highly resistant to outside interference and can be run over much longer lengths than conventional, non-balanced cables.

Digital inputs
As well as the PC-USB and Bluetooth connectivity, the RA1592MKII also features a wide range of other digital source connections. There are no fewer than three optical and coaxial inputs – perfect for a CD/DVD player, network streamer, TV, games console and more. At the front, you’ll find a USB-A socket that’s ideal for media devices and playing back stored music files.

There’s a phono input for a turntable with MM (Moving Magnet) cartridge, three line level inputs and both pre and sub outputs. More unusually, there are also RS232, external remote and 12-volt trigger sockets, all of which lend themselves to multi-room home entertainment applications – no wonder this is a Roon certified amplifier.
