Great product and great service
Really pleased with the purchase of a Ruack R5 and two Ruack MRx. They produce a great sound with good connectability and flexibility. They also look good. Will probably purchase more units to connect up more of my house.

Connectivity and app issues really let it down
I bought three MRx along with an R5, hoping to connect these using the multiroom features. Two of the MRx were intended as a stereo pair along with the R5 for a better sound in the main room. However, when grouped with the R5, the MRx frequently cut out even when wired using ethernet cable through a gigabit switch.
The build quality of the MRx is good and they look great, but unfortunately they simply don't work as linked multiroom speakers as advertised. The UNDOK app that is required to set up and control the MRx is also very poor and not what you would expect from speaker at this price point.
Overall I was disappointed with the MRx and returned the two intended as a stereo pair. I'm keeping the remaining one as this will be used mostly on its own in a separate room to the R5. Thankfully Richer Sounds were great and sorted the return without issues.

Dissappointed in the product.
i purchased a Ruark R5 audio system in September 2020 and dissappointingly one of the MRX walnut speakers has proved faulty.I have contacted the Glasgow shop whom have been helpful, none the less i find myself waiting indefinitely for a replacement speaker of which there is a manufacturing shortage off.I wish to recommend the product but feel i cannot due to this situation. This review is not about the good service i have received from Richer sounds Glasgow but more about the Ruark product.

Lots of features great finish sound to die for
Bought this to replace an AudioPro Air One which had stopped working, the speaker is extremely well finished ( Walnut) even the back of the speaker is walnut. The sound is excellent even better than the AudioPro, I am hearing instruments that I haven’t heard before, I use it Bluetooth with my I tunes also direct with my iPod. The internet radio is a huge bonus and sound is very good indeed, I would wholeheartedly recommend it I would certainly consider Ruark’s other products when next upgrading

This is a lovely piece of kit
I bought this a couple of weeks back for an outside room in the garden. We already have 2 pieces of Ruark kit so the brand is on our radar. We are very impressed. It was really easy to set up. The sound is awesome. Just listen to the High Tone live album. The power is just right for a decent sized room. The other surprise is just how intimate the sound is. Somehow the Portico Quartet are actually in the room! We simply stream from Spotify so it’s easy to adjust tone etc. Highly recommended.
