Doesn't work with my Samsung TV or Samsung DVD Player
Tried connecting to both my Samsung UE40D6530 TV and BD-C5900 DVD player - I was astounded by the awfulness of it all.
1) There is no Aux Out port on the TV so the suggested set-up direct to the TV was impossible.
2) Connecting the sound bar to the DVD player and sub-woofer to the sound bar produced an unlistenable to output from the sound bar (heavy crackling, jumping and general fuzz). The sub-woofer gave no output at all.
A waste of time. Returning for a refund.

Sleek design, good bass, nice for the price!
Very happy with this puchase it has added another level to our entertainment set up. With super slim TV's nowadays TV's have been lacking the ability or space to have decent sound straight from the box.
Knowing this I bought a sound bar with my TV.
This samsung sounbar is a great entry level sounbar and you probably wont get better for the price.
Nevertheless it isnt perfect ive found it to be lacking at the high range and surround effect isnt as good as other systems, I installed an optical cable however you can still hear a slight delay in sound

This soundbar considerably enhances viewing pleasure.
When buying a larger screen television I was skeptical of any benefits the additional purchase of a soundbar would bring. After searching on the net and a quick call to Richer Sounds my reservations were removed.
Easy to install and operate, the difference from using the sound system built in to the TV and the soundbar is dramatic and well worth the extra expense.

Fantastic quality for a small home.
Needed something extra to go with my TV but only have a small terraced home so couldn't have anything too over powering. This is just the job ! Easy to install, great sound & clarity. The only bug bare I have is that there are loads of features but only one can be used at a time.

im not a great audio specialist ..i have given this soundbar 5 star ratng based on value for money im sure bars costing 2-3 times the price will out perform it . i only purchased this to give my new samsung tv a general boost in sound quality which it does very well .as these large tv's tend not to have the audio to match the rest of there abilities .. i think for general day to day tv viewing this soundbar is good value without spending silly money...

Includes sub woofer - £119 for the unit
V pleased. My 40" samsung had the audio output of a mouses transistor radio. Easy to set up. Good base and sound overall. Though if you are the sort of person that spends thousands on audio equipment - a tosspot, you could probably pick holes in the base warmth or something.
Good design. Excellent service at richer sounds. I have just installed a small shelf under the tv for this magnificent piece of audio technology to sit on.
I was disappointed not to be able to find matching trim for the front of the shelf. I tried b&q, homebase and travis perkins. It seems that whoever installed the shelves might have cut down some fancy skirting to make the trim.
I bought the service guarantee at richer sounds for £11.85. If the unit doesn't go wrong in 5 years time richer sounds will refund me. Which has the added benefit of giving me something to look forward to in march 2020 other than the slow decaying effect of the steady matching beat of time and the human races eventual demise

Perfect for a standard living room
I chose this soundbar over a sony one priced at £40 cheaper, but it only offered half the wattage of this one. I also like my electronics to match so decided to stick with this to match my Samsung TV.

Nearly a very good value buy
The product is OK for the price, but lacks clarity in the treble range. Neither the bass or treble controls make any difference to the sound output - I confirmed this by using a white noise signal and analysed the output - the controls do nothing!
I have checked similar units in store and found all have the same issue.
A pity because the lack of treble spoils what could otherwise be a value buy.
Don't know if Samsung may issue a software upgrade in future to correct this problem!
