Superb sound
I read up some reviews and listened to some other soundbars in Richer Sounds and this just sounded so good. I have actually disconnected my HiFi as this sounds so good and that was a reduction from 1 control Amp and 2 power amps , cd player 5 wired speakers..

Great sound, lacking surround sound performance
Had the product about two weeks. So far really enjoyed it. Set up was straight forward, wireless pairing the sub was dead easy. Also wall mounting with included brackets was straightforward. The soundbar sounds great in all content, dialogue is clear thanks to a dedicated centre channel. Connectivity features all work well, although inclusion of Google Chromecast support would have made it better. Only disappointment is in the soundstage. Although it claims to be a 3.1.2, there is next to no spatial definition and the 'sound projection' doesn't really work. I have got the rear surrounds on order so this may make up for that, but I have tempered my expectations.
With the cashback offer at time of purchase, picked it up for £350 - at that price you would struggle to beat the quality and scale of the sound.

Excellent service from Richer Sounds
After months of issues with a Sony soundbar (from a different retailer), I am so much happier with the Q800a, which works perfectly with my LG B9 oled.
I had a couple of phone calls with RS Cambridge, who were brilliant working through suggestions, before doing me a great deal on this one. I've gone for the 6 year RS warranty too, as I know from experience how good the support is, should a product go wrong years down the line.
This soundbar is outstanding across the board. Even at lower volume the range and clarity (especially dialogue) is impressive. WiFi streaming and smart app control are features I haven't had before, but both are now getting used a lot.
All in, I'm a very happy customer.
