Great experience
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From the moment of unpacking the system you can enjoy a sleek design, the installation via Bluetooth is very straightforward, and the sound was clear with great acoustics. While watching a movie it offers a nice immersive cinema experience in the room. I'm looking forward to keep using it.

Great looking soundbar,sounds great , manual states you require HDMI to MINI HDMI but what you actually need is HDMI to MICRO HDMI annoying wait for the correct item,and unnecessary cost.

Good, crisp sound.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this for a couple of weeks now and it does give out impressive sound. Crisp, sharp tones, with good vocal clarity. I'm using it with a Samsung QN800B TV, and the TV and Soundbar "Q-Symphony" feature works very well, giving more breadth and depth of sound without rear speakers. Unfortunately, the rear sound (the .2 upwards speakers which reflect sound off the ceiling to simulate surround) do create a somewhat muffled surround effect, noticeably different to my existing 15 year old 5.1 system that I was looking to replace with this. From a sound point of view that's my only issue - otherwise the front sound certainly is far better: clearer, and less bassy.
Another disappointment is that the Soundbar supposedly offers the best output through HDMI, and advertises this as a feature with "Crystal clear audio through the use of HDMI which transmits sound digitally providing you with the best possible sound.", but Samsung neglected to provide the appropriate cable, which feels rather cheap of them, considering the price of the Soundbar. Also, the Tap Sound feature "Transfer your music with one simple tap. Just tap your smartphone anywhere on the Soundbar to hear the rich sound mirrored, without any need for manual pairing straight to your soundbar" doesn't seem to work with my 2022 Samsung flagship phone.
Overall, it's a good device, sounds great, but has some issues which knock a star off the rating.

Sleek looks, decent sound, hefty price
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Never have I seen such a slick soundbar, which hides so well in front of the TV. The sound however is a bit weak relative speaking, but is good quality with a decent sound stage. I find the mids missing abit, but good vocal reproduction and clarity which makes movies and shows easy to enjoy. The bass though is a brilliant stand out feature, however punching well above the equivalent size category. Overall brilliant connection with new Samsung TVs, with Wifi. Not so good with older TVs, with ARC (not eARC) and no optical. Doesn't even include a cable for the ARC, however bluetooth does work out of the box and there is not much of a delay, especially can be compensated for.
Overall, a very slick soundbar with good sound but a price tag that could cause you to look for other soundbars also from Samsung. However, for the same slick look, nothing compares price-wise.

Pleased with the purchase
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First impressions when i opened the box was that it looked like a slim and sleak, modern sound bar. It seamlessly connected up to my TV via bluetooth, and instantly sounded better than the rubbish sound you get with modern TV's. The instructions are clear and the sound bar is easy to use. Quite basey at the moment which can almost make the speech sound a little quiet at times so need to figure out the settings on that. Definitely a lot better though and worth the money i feel. It's a great quality sound bar, which I expected from samsung. The sound bar also fits perfectly on our TV stand. Pretty pleased with it overall.

What a change!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using a soundbar for years but just a basic one so was very excited when I saw this one, specifically because I could purchase the two surround sound speakers to make it 5.1ch (I'd 100% recommend buying these in addition).
I connected via eArc HDMI port on my TV and immediately when to watch Vikings on Netflix and was blown away by how immersive it was - it really felt like I was in the cinema!
Versus TV audio this is a must but also versus a soundbar without Dolby Atmos or 5.1ch (with additional speakers) it also makes such a difference!

Strong sound frm a compact soundbar
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loved the look of this product as soon as it came out of the box and was excited to get it set up. It looks quality which is nothing less than I'd expect from the Samsung brand. I got it all set up then was dismayed to find my TV did not have a suitable bluetooth setting and I therefore needed an HDMI lead to connect, which it didn't come with. So had to wait a few days for that to be delivered. Once it was up and running I was immediately impressed by the sound quality from such a slim soundbar.
Although it's slim, it is quite long so doesnt fit on top of our unit with the other things we have on it (broadband router, photos, generic satelllite TV box....) so I wall-mounted the soundbar. Whilst slightly tricky to make sure the bracket holes are in the right place and level (there is a template but it was concertina-folded in with the screws so I didn't find it until I'd already made my own!). Brackets allow for thin wires to go behind the soundbar but I have one cable which is slightly too thick, so that's slightly annoying.
I've also used the soundbar to play music via bluetooth from my phone, and the sound is equally impressive.
I've not noticed much output from the subwoofer, only occasionally, so I'm still testing whether it the location I have it in, or whether it's just the programs we're watching!
Overall I'm impressed with the product and would recommend it, I'd just appreciate it coming with a cable to connect to the TV!
