Easy to use and fast to switch between apps
Been looking at the QLED range for a few years and now they have come down in price I went for it. Very happy with it, easy to wall mount as the cables are well out of the way of the VESA mounting brackets/points. I appreciate the active matrix backlight especially when you watch movies/shows with a top/bottom black area. I really like how fast the switching between apps are compared to my BT box and my old TV. The TV adjusts its light according to the lighting in the room making it a please to watch daytime as in the evening. When switching to my Sony PS4 or Nintendo it recognizes them as game consoles and automatically changes to game mode to minimize input lag. I'm sure I will find more good stuff as I explore its features!

Extremely comprehensive TV
Deciding on a new tv opened a whole host of options and confusion for me. Befor talking about the television I want to Manitoba the advice and guidance I received from RS (Namely Ben @ Edinburgh)
I had been round and round for weeks unable to make progress on my decision making. I turned to sending a very long and detailed email into store and within 24hrs had chapter and verse pro’s and con’s regarding all I was struggling with and some detailed recommendations based on the information I had shared. From there my confidence grew in the advice I was receiving and my procrastination ended, I placed the order at 2pm Monday and received the set, Sonos and bracket (which was perfect for the TV) by Friday.
The television itself is a huge upgrade from my 4 year old Sony. The upgrade in the operating interface over the Sony android is like the invention of MS windows over dos. I use sky and it integrates into the Samsung OS meaning all of the sky functionality can be done via the Samsung control.
The image quality is also incredible. Between basic things like strictly over to ultra HD on sky, movies on Netflix and Apple TV, the picture is amazing. No lag on anything fast moving. I haven’t found the intelligent settings or dynamic settings the beat options for anything so far. The basic standard picture setting is best for most things, switching to movie for movies.
The Sonos arc seemed like a luxurious addition. At £800 it’s a pricey soundbar. I have a number of Sonos products and was keen to stick with this, using a bean on another TV. Unfortunately it wasn’t straightforward. Whilst the beam is compatible with either Sonos s1 or S2. The new arc demands S2. With 5 other Sonos speakers not compatible I had to create a second Sonos account with a different email address and a second Sonos network with just the Arc on it. As a sound bar it’s great. Fills my very large room. As a stand alone Sonos product using the app it’s also fine. As an Alexa product however it fails. Despite all settings being correct, it doesn’t see the Alexa app when using the voice function and claims to have no music sources enabled. RS are continuing I try and figure this out for me which is very much appreciated as I had come to a dead end.
Overall, I spent a stack of money on a tv and sound bar however I am very glad I made the purchase with RS. I have developed a personal trust with the advisor who assisted me and he has made himself available for tech support which is fantastic and wouldn’t be available from other retailers. 10/10 guys

I brought this TV as an upgrade to an older samsung HD 3D tv which was in fact still going strong! I stretched our budget based on the viewing I had in store and our requirements for a new TV. The brightness on this compared to my previous edge lit is simply amazing. Films are very bright and Star Wars pops so well. Also the UI is really easy to navigate and use.. Netflix and Disney Plus apps switch from and too very quickly to continue watching what you want. The default sound on this TV is also impressive! For general TV watching a sound bar isnt actually needed although I did purchase the Q950T which really makes this TV a cinematic experience

Really Like the TV, nice & fast
My old Tv ( a sony ) was only 3 years old, but had become very slow, the constant updating meant it had become out of date and not compatible with latest software. This TV looks really good, and works extremely fast.
