After having my last Samsung TV for around 10 years I thought why not get another and my god am I shocked at how amazing this TV is. There are so many apps, when though there could be more added. Fantastic value for money too. I know it will go on for many years

Easy to use
Richer Sounds supplied this TV and we think we have a great value for money purchase; delivery was extra quick too. I self installed and set up the TV with no trouble and connected it to our BT TV and Nintendo Wii too. All is good EXCEPT for an occasional "crackle" when watching either catch up TV or a recorded programme; its irritating at the moment, I don't know if this is a reason to have it checked out or not.

Great Mid Range TV
Great image quality. Could do with a better processor to keep up sometimes there's a frame rate drop thats noticeable and could do with being able to uninstall apps I don't use that come with the tv to free up memory. Otherwise a beautiful picture very lifelike and great black and white with almost no bleeding waves like you see on cheaper tvs even with hdr.

Great TV but some issues with sound bar.
The TV works very well, lovely picture, works well with Humax PVR and Panasonic Blu-Ray player, menus and setup quite comprehensive and reasonably intuitive.
Glad we went for the 55" and not the 65" as it is quite big enough, thankyou very much.
Only issue we have had is getting it to work with our Cambridge TV2 speaker base / sound bar using HDMI eARC. It didn't recognise the TV2 as a sound device to start with and kept putting up an annoying error message. Invested in a new 8K / HDMI 2.1 cable and increased the HDMI delay but still not seeing it. Following day with no changes it worked perfectly. Day after that it was erratic, and the next day went back to not recognising it as a sound device. Really annoying!
Finally gave up with ARC and now using the optical connection which is working fine. Only issue is we have to use the Cambridge Sound Base remote for volume control there being no option to use the volume on the TV remote to control the TV2. We used the TV remote to control the Sound Base on our old telly using the ARC connection and with this TV when the ARC decided to work.
Oh well - it frees up the HDMI eARC socket for another input device!

Large budget screen required
I was looking for a decent large screen for occasional viewing only, hence attempting to keep the price down. The staff were knowledgeable, informed and helpful in narrowing down the choice to their recommended item after a short discussion about my precise needs and requirements. True to their word, the Samsung 55 I bought provided a great picture, surprisingly good features at very reasonable cost. Very pleased with the experience, especially as it saved me a lot of time, otherwise spent on doing my own research and viewings

Great TV with Excellent Customer Service
I had bought a LG Tv just short of 6 years ago from Richer Sounds and it came with the 6 year warranty with it. Just recently the backlight stopped working. I contacted RS CS and they arranged for a technician to come and look at it. It was deemed unrepairable. RS gave me back credit towards a new TV. So I purchased the Samsung after a few months as we had a spare tv to use for the time being. The CS team were so good. They found the credit on my account and sorted out the price and delivery really quick. Delivery was smooth and on time. Setting up the to was easy too and the picture is amazing since I was moving to a 4K display from an 1080P HD. Xbox 4K and netflix looks so good. As well as upscale shows. Deffo a worth while buy without having to break the bank balance.
