Smooth, powered action
With a smooth, casing-mounted motor, the screen roles up or down at the touch of a remote control. If you want to hide the screen it also comes with an IR extender, which you can fix to the ceiling to receive the remote signal, while for remote and automated triggering there's a 10m lead to connect it to your projector. An RS232 port allows further automation and control options.
Triple laminated screen
One of the joys of watching TV and films from a projector is the sheer scale of image. The SEWS240RWSF-A offers a big screen TV-beating 106" screen for life-like images. As you'd expect from Sapphire, the screen quality is also top notch. The triple laminated glassfibre surface is designed to lay flat with no curls extending into the viewing area. The screen fabric has a black backing, so you can place the screen in front of a window and no light will come though the projector screen fabric.

Sleek, smart and convenient
A very smart case which unobtrusively houses and excellent home cinema screen. At a touch of a remote button the screen descends or raises as you wish, or can be connected to your projector for automatic activation in sync with the lamp illuminating. The screen housing can even be recessed into the ceiling as it is accompanied by a remote infrared detector.
The image produced is excellent and so a great addition for the home cinema enthusiast.

Simply huge screen
I got my screen fitted today, so can't comment yet on durability. The wow factor, though, is incredible. I'd been projecting onto a white wall previously and this is a very significant step up. The electric trigger allows the screen to be stowed at ceiling level when not in use, which permits pictures on the wall behind.
I haven't tried out the trigger cable yet, but reckon that will require a fair bit of cable dragging through the ceiling as I'm trying to avoid trunking as much as possible.

Great screen for home use
I bought this screen to go with a Benq short throw projector which I also bought from Richer Sounds. This screen has replaced a cheap screen which I bought when I first set up a budget Home Cinema. Although more expensive, this screen was well worth the cost as the build quality is excellent and the images are stunning.

A worthwhile upgrade!
I agonised over getting a new screen for so long but I'm so glad I spent the extra cash on this screen.
The quality of the casing and brackets are very high and it's very easy to install (although the instructions are vague and small).
The screen itself amazing, that with a 6 year warranty you should buy with confidence.

Great Screen!
On advice from the very helpful Rob, I bought the 240cm Sapphire screen. It is amazing - so clear and bright, and so easy to fit - I actually mananged it on my own. The delivery guys were also brilliant, could not have been more helpful. Summary - a perfect purchasing experience. Now Richer Sounds need to show Amazon and the rest of the on-line world how its done! Thanks!

Good screen, slightly ‘chinese’ Quality
Have had this installed for the past month, the mounts are excellent and sturdy and easy to install. Comes with 12v trigger cable, remote, and if sensor on extended cable. The drop preset adjustment is a bit fiddly and not particularly intuitive, and is not covered in the rather sparse instructions. Well packaged and seems like ok quality but does feel a very tiny bit cheap. Screen drops/retracts quickly, if slightly noisy. Screen is never going to be quite as flat as a fixed version but is 99% satisfactory. Picture quality seems good although I have nothing to compare to

Perfect for my needs.
Thought I would splash out a little bit after my unbranded screen finally gave up the ghost after 15 years of daily use. I am so glad I didn't go for the cheaper end of the market. The screen was extremely easy to ceiling fit with the excellent bracket system supplied but do make sure that the anchors you choose are up to the job! Once up and running I was so surprised at the very smooth and quiet operation of the screen after the clunky, noisy screen I had just replaced. The 4K HDR picture quality reproduced on the screen was nothing short of miraculous and totally convinced me that it was well worth the extra I payed for a top quality product.

Easy to install, good quality screen material, great picture
Easy to install as the brackets attach to the screen casing with only one screw and feel very rigid. I hung the screen from hooks attached to the ceiling through eyelets which are also provided. Comes with a basic remote control and can be connected to a trigger device such as the projector or AV amplifier via the 10m long cable. The motor is reasonable quiet and the lowering and raising is fully adjustable and can be fine tuned using the remote. The screen itself is completely flat with no ripples and partnered with my Epson EH TW7300 gives a great picture. The power chord may be a little short for some situations, especially if the power socket is low down.

Great screen
Super simple to install and a great size. The final screen being is fully adjustable even with my 3m+ ceiling. Well built and good quality materials, bounces the image back very well. Yes an electric screen is more expensive than standard but worth the extra money. If you are going to spend time and hard earned cash buying a projector and screen id highly recommend Richer Sounds for their unbiased, honest and experienced advise. Take your time. Get it right and you'll be amazed at your set up. Throw that old TV out and get a projector and screen. Entertainment life changer.
