Experience the thrill of the cinema, with the Sony HTCT80 soundbar and subwoofer package.

Powerful sub, separate slim soundbar

By putting the bass unit in a separate subwoofer, the Sony HTCT80 soundbar has the freedom to be one of the slimmest in its class. Thanks to Virtual Surround Sound it still manages to give a spacious and immersive sound with that separate subwoofer providing the rumble. Unlike the sound from your TV, with the Sony HTCT80 you can now feel the action rather than just seeing it.

S- Master digital amp and wireless streaming
Acting as the perfect complement for the dynamic speaker system is Sony's S-Master HX digital amplifier. Designed with simplicity in mind, the result is not only more power but also significantly less distortion. When you combine Bluetooth with NFC, streaming your music becomes easier than ever. Simply swipe your smartphone for NFC pairing alongside, or use standard Bluetooth pairing if your phone's not NFC equipped.

USB port
Got a music collection saved on a USB stick, MP3, smartphone or tablet? Then you can get quick and easy access with the Sony's USB port. Handily mounted at the front of the unit, connecting up your device is quick and easy. Once connected, the Sony's remote allows easy access to enjoying High-Resolution Audio across all of your devices.

Stylishly slim
Standing just 52mm tall, the HTCT80's low profile won't block your TV's image. In some cases, the soundbar may even be able to be slid under the TV (depending on TV stand design). Alternatively, the soundbar can easily be wall mounted for an equally discreet look.

For a big sound from a discreet package, let the Sony HTCT80 transform your home entertainment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very happy Sleek fresh design that's fits in with the decor of my living room. Sound is amazing on all levels...i like my neighbours so I don't turn it up to maximum! Very happy with this product. It's a great buy

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good value Sony. This offers a large improvement in sound quality from my Sony 40" TV, with surprisingly deep bass. I use this in my bedroom where it's sound is more than enough. For the money, I'd certainly recommend this product as a budget, but quality item. One thing worth noting; the power cable is very short, perhaps only just over a metre long.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does exactly what is asked of it I got this for a wall-mounted TV in my bedroom. So it didn't have to be loud or clear. This is keenly priced, and delivers the sound quality expected within the price range. Thank you Richer Sounds for an honest opinion on the product, and a nice easy sales experience. Excellent store staff at London Bridge.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from average product slim in appearance but tall enough to interfere with the TV remote sensor. average sound effect.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice clear quality sound, but not much power At the right price this sound bar makes a sensible purchase. Nice base sound but not a whole heap of power.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Lacklustre sound I received this soundbar free with a Sony Bravia TV. I expected it to provide a bit of oomph but found it very lacking in power. Used in conjunction with the TV's speakers it did improve the sound slightly. Also this device does not link with the TV, so Its own remote needs to be used. There is no indication of volume level, however, this should not be a problem as the maximum volume is so low. This soundbar would probably be suitable for a bedroom, but if you want a decent sound experience you should look for something better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Value for money Good sound for the price, easy to connect and user friendly. Paired via Bluetooth with iPad easily. Great value for money!
