The Teac TR650 radio tuner combines quality and features for a winning design.

A good quality Quartz PLL synthesized tuning system matched to carefully selected components provides the TR650 with a crisp, low distortion sound quality that demonstrates the open and vivid sound of FM and DAB to their best advantage.

In terms of features, the TR-650 has everything you're ever likely to need and more than just about any rival. There are plenty of presets for DAB, FM and MW. The FM section features RDS for easy station identity. There's also a very useful sleep timer for auto power down and a Timer-On which can be set once or daily. A digital clock provides a handy time check for when you're near the tuner. What's more, the florescent display is large and clear to suit all lighting conditions.

To hear just how good FM and DAB still sound, tune in to the Teac T-R650 today.

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 5 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Exellent, good sound and controls easy I like the band switch at the side of the tuning knob. I suspect the engineering of the combination (I am one). Long term longevity and reliability would be the problem. 17 July 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Functional but not intuitive. This was replacing a cheaper model that died after a few years of faithful service. It tuned quickly and picked up all the stations, but a slight annoyance is that the knob on the right is not depressable as the select button, that is a totally separate button next to it, which is annoying. The menu structure is also not great to use and no matter how fast you rotate the knob to scroll through the lists it does not exceed a scroll speed which can be classed as pitifully slow. The use of 'favourite stations' is also cumbersome and it is faster to just scroll through the large alphabetical list than try and recall favourites. Putting this aside the sound quality is excellent and the pause between selecting a station and music emanating is the fastest I've had. If it lived near a Richer Sounds it would be going back, but as it is functional I will live with it. 24 June 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good value for money Have only used a few times so far but it seems to work well enough. There doesn't seem to be much difference in quality between the FM and DAB sound and I still haven't sorted out the DAB aerial properly so it tends to lose signal sometimes. It's a shame that there are only 10 presets on the DAB but 30 on FM - it should be the other way around. Considering that there seem to be no other DAB/FM tuners anywhere near this price it represents good value if it is only required for occasional listening. The rotational tuning knob is a plus and easier to use than push buttons. The remote on my 10+ year old TEAC amplifier works with this tuner (although not for all functions) so that was a bonus. 21 June 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great DAB tuner Good value for money and not come across too many with a optical output for sound. 16 June 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice product and sold and delivered professionally Very good value for money, nice looking and easy to use digital tuner. I also have a 35+ year old TEAC tuner, with old school tuning, and, of course, interference. It was therefore nice to bring my relationship with TEAC tuners up to date. The digital radio tuner is so good that it's almost cheap. And the delivery was fast and highly efficient. 24 May 2013
