Thanks to Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, the Aonic SE215 TW earphones deliver true wireless freedom. Simply pair with your smartphone or other device and start listening – free from cables. Thanks to their connection points, you can add optional (at extra cost) cables to fit certain situations, such as airplane entertainment systems.
Natural sound isolation
Careful design makes the SE215 TW naturally sound isolating. With the ability to block up to 37dB of background noise, these earphones let you concentrate on the music. With such effective noise isolation it also means you don’t have to turn the volume up as much, helping to protect your long term hearing. Environmental Mode lets you hear the outside world at the touch of a button.
Customise the sound with ShurePlus PLAY
Shure’s ShurePlus PLAY app (available for Apple iOS and Android) adjusts the EQ and Environmental Mode levels for your perfect sound. Much more than this, it also acts as a hi-res media player. Any locally stored music can be arranged into playlists and played through the app’s EQ settings. Compatible with 24 bit WAV and FLAC files, this is an ideal way to take control of your hi-res music.

Very Flawed
For a company like Shure these are bad. They make fantastic wired earphones (the 535s and 846s are brilliant (although expensive)), but the wireless attempt has made me question the attention Shure are paying to their quality.
Sound quality: decent, dual drive with the 215 earbuds. Not overly bass-y, handles kids and highs pretty well for a lower end Shure product. Better than anything Apple or Beats produce by a distance.
Case/battery charger: it’s nice, but it’s big and about 3-4 times the size of most others.
App: Simple and it allows you to play with the bass, trebles etc.
Fit: The earbuds are fine and come with plenty of different size adapters. The Bluetooth/control part wraps around your ear so there’s not much chance of dropping them. If you want to upgrade to the 535s then it’s simple plug-n-play.
That’s the good.
Reliability: Utterly abysmal for a great audio company like Shure. First pair I bought: right Bluetooth/control wouldn’t charge and it was just out of the box. Returned them. Second pair: During runs I’ve had the left earbud just stop working (presumably due to sweat), the left Bluetooth/control drop from 100% charge to 0% within a few minutes.
When I wear them now when running I’m just waiting for something to go wrong with them. I’d return them for a refund but I’ve lost the box. Shame as I loved everything I ever bought from Shure. They badly need to fix the reliability issues or just stop making wireless in-ear headphones.

Great once settings changed and EQ'd, poor before
Amazing fit on ears, for use in gym. I would say they are impossible to fall out when running. Out box they have a hiss, this is the setting that allows you to select the outside awareness. Switch this off for the best sound. The Shure app is great. Out the box, the sound is terrible, no bass boxy, brittle. Once EQ'd in the Shure app, make sure you also EQ in Spotify, by doing this i have achieved a very good sound quality.
