With the Sonos Roam, you get to take the sound of Sonos wherever you go. Compatible with wi-fi, Bluetooth and Apple AirPlay 2, this portable speaker works your way. Thanks to its waterproof durability and 10-hour battery life, it’s set for any adventure.

Connect your way – Bluetooth and wi-fi
Thanks to wi-fi connectivity, you get to enjoy the unmatched Sonos experience at home. When you’re out and about switch to Bluetooth for a direct link to your smartphone or tablet. Roam automatically connects to your home network and pairs with your smartphone/tablet, making switching between them totally seamless.

Apple AirPlay 2 for seamless streaming from your Apple device
Featuring AirPlay 2, you can stream directly from your Apple devices or ask Siri to play your favourites from Apple Music throughout your home. (Requires wi-fi for AirPlay operation).

10 hours battery life
With up to 10 hours of battery life, the Roam has you covered for everything from a day in the garden to an all-night party. To save power, the Roam switches to sleep mode when not in use and wakes in less than a second.

Wireless charging option
Compatible with wireless Qi chargers, it’s easy to keep the Roam’s battery topped up. For an even neater solution, Sonos’s optional Roam Charging Base (sold separately) magnetically snaps to the base.

Helping further to get the best sound, wherever you are, the Roam features revolutionary Trueplay technology. Trueplay scans the surroundings, analyses the results and then fine-tunes the speaker for the ideal listening experience. Whether you’re indoors or out, the Roam adapts to give the most natural and realistic sound possible.

Tough and durable – IP67 rated
IP67 rating means that the Roam is waterproof up to a metre, for 30 minutes. This makes it brilliant on the beach, at a pool party or for just singing in the rain. The drop-resistant construction is perfect for life on the move.

Voice control over wi-fi
When you’ve got the Roam connected via wi-fi, it also doubles as a voice-controlled speaker. Compatible with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, you can play music, check news, set alarms and get your questions answered, all by simple voice command.

Sonos Roam seamlessly syncs voice, app, and button commands, enabling you to manage music with a single word, tap of the app, or push of the button. Combine voice control with the Sonos app to manage all your music in one place.

Pair for stereo sound
Just like other Sonos models, the Sonos Roam can be paired up for stereo sound. Link two* using the Sonos app and you’ve instant, immersive stereo sound. *Note, pairing only works via wi-fi and so requires being within range of a wi-fi hub.

Once you’ve unboxed Roam, you can start charging using the included USB-C cable and a 7.5W (5V/1.5A) or higher USB power adapter. To set up Roam and connect it to your system, just open the Sonos S2 app while on WiFi and follow the prompts. When you’re ready to stream over Bluetooth, pair Roam with your mobile device by holding the power button until you hear the second chime.
