A well manufactured, high quality television with a vibrant screen, good sound and intuitive features. HD pictures well upscaled and even SD pictures better than on a full HDTV. Easy to set up although the individual menus take a bit of working through, but once it's all going, it's quite a Television

Purchased a Sony kdl- 55xe930 ex display with 5yr warranty , after viewing this tv in store and doing a side by side comparison with a 55 oled , for £1150 this tv was a no brainer.
After setting up the picture settings at home , on with a 4K planet earth and boy this tv blow me away, the level of shadow detail,colours,and brightness when needed was incredible .
I’ve not seen any tv in 2018 this good.
Thanks to all the lads especially ste in the Newcastle store for your help and service .

What service!
Now, just to be clear that statement has no question mark, and nor should it! I'll say it again: What service! Outstanding! Special thanks go to Tony at the Norwich store who talked me through my purchase from beginning to end. He was there when I didn't know what Dolby Vision was (or is going to be!), when I couldn't get the TV on the wall and when I wanted the best out of the picture. Coming round to do a health check and a mini calibration. What a star! The TV almost comes second. I hadn't brought a new TV for 9 years (hence the jitters) and I can tell you that when I first put on the Blu-ray series I was watching there was motion blur and Don Draper looked like he does when I've had to many glasses of wine. Thankfully, Tony was there to reassure me and talk me through some tweaks that made all the difference. I still approach my set with some wariness but I'm slowly falling in love (and some would say that's the best way). Thanks, again to everyone at Richer Sounds for holding my hand and giving the kind of personal service that you can't get from John Lewis or Amazon! I've just read the guide notes on reviewing and it says I should focus on the product not the service. Well, you can read about the product anywhere but I would still be crying into my wine if it wasn't for the staff in Norwich. I'd say buy this TV, and buy it from Richer Sounds, and if you haven't brought a TV for while be prepared for a steep (but very satisfying) learning curve. It needs a lot of love but it's a two way street.

I bought this from richer sounds Hanley around a month ago. I had been researching TVs for a few months and I am very happy with my choice. My PS4 pro looks fantastic on this screen and as it runs at 4K the input lag is good - meant to be poor input lag on 1080 signal. Sound is reasonable. Only downside for me is the android operating system is a little buggy but not to extent it reduces my satisfaction with this great tv. Thanks richer sounds!

Best TV for the price
The TV has amazing brightness and colours, plus the sharpness provided by a 4K panel. The sound is amazing, for integrated speakers. Nice build quality as well.
Only downside, as stated in many reviews, the Android TV interface feels like it's running on underpowered CPU as it tends to be slow and choppy when using built in apps. The problem almost completely disappears when using external video sources, as that seems to free up CPU resources.

UHD goodness
I decided it was time to upgrade my Panasonic plasma as there is quite a lot of 4k content out there now, and I had to play God of War in UHD. I was torn between this and the OLEDs, but was a bit worried about burn-in issues since my girlfriend burnt ESPANA into my pannys screen. Loving the Sony though, Great price and great customer service from the guys at Richer Sounds. Just need a new receiver and UHD player and I'm sorted.
