Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nice display, terrible user interface. Not impressed with the user interface of this TV. The display's great but the user interface (volume, settings, TV guide etc.) is so annoying, mainly because there's a significant delay between pressing a button on the remote and the corresponding action occurring on-screen. Settings are also unintuitive and inconsistent, fragmented over different 'apps'. Some display over the TV picture, others cause the screen to blank and audio to mute. I would prefer if these so-called 'smart' TVs had a dumb mode that disabled the internet connection and behaved like a traditional TV.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from No Alexa! No Alexa in Norway, not good enough, so I watch my Samsung instead.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant Tele Faultless. Great picture and the sound is fantastic for a modern TV with smaller in built speakers

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great but not the best This tv has amazing screen and the colours are wonderful. The software is the best as its Android and you have Playstore and Google Movies. The only thing wrong with the software its too slow. Being able to turn off the phone through Google Assistant. The legs of the TV are poorly designed and dont look great. The Hdmi ports are very confusing as they are not all the same. Two are 2.0 Hdmi and the others are 1.4.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great screen but.. Does not support Dolby Atmos or Dolby Hd, no eArc, flimsy frame that easily gets damaged if not not carful. No support for Dolby from Disney or Netflix app and not passthrough from Optical port

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 2 Sony or not 2 Sony I love my Sony TV, I work in the AV industry and looking for what my family budget could afford I went for the KD-65XF9005. The picture is beautiful. Very happy with the display panel. My on major frustration is the clunky graphic settings. Motion plus as a default. Incompatibility with alternative soundboards and Media players. Updates keep seeming to break another thing that fixes another. But all in all a beautiful picture.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Function and Durability standard -less than 3years Bought it to replace my 10 years old Sony TV model. I was happy with the product. in less than 3 years, the TV appeared to be cracked from inside. it was not accidental damage. it was on the wall. I switch on the TV and saw it. The next 2 days, the TV stop showing images but sound working ok. very disappointment at the duration of a Sony TV. I use to class Sony product but now I am having second thought.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good quality, clunky firmware Sony build quality is the main attraction. Picture quality is excellent. Remote control a little uncomfortable in hand. GUI a little basic and unsophisticated. Firmware is locked geospecific and hard to re-locate.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good tv terrible remote and sensor Bought this 3 years ago always thought the remote was poor as you had to be close to the tv and point it directly at the ir sensor. Few weeks ago the sensor packed it in. After a few calls and emails to sony got someone out to fix it now it works properly for the first ever time but the TV frame is now warped were the sensor has been fitted

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for streamed 4K content & improved UI Had this TV for nearly a year. HD freeview excellent picture but really comes into its own showing streamed 4K and HDR content. Even better with the updated UI, much more responsive and quicker start up. Will probably replace bedroom TV with the same at some point.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Will never buy Sony TV again Picture quality is really good and I was happy with the TV until it just stopped working after 25 months - that's one month after the warranty was over. And no one can fix it. One of the main reasons I chose it over LG OLED was realiability - I somehow thought Sony products are 100% reliable - turns out I was so wrong.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great TV - Broke and can't be repaired. I bought this TV 2.5 years ago and its been fine the whole time. And then it died. I rang Sony as it was still under warrantee and they said it could not be repaired and I would need a new one. Unfortunately they would not honour the cover due to a technicality on my receipt and the company I bought it from have since gone bust. So I am now without a TV and pretty upset.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The end of an era. Over the last 35 years I've only ever owned Sony TV's. However, my latest purchase has led me to reconsider buying Sony again. The operating system is clunky, I'm constantly having to factory reset to keep the apps working and I've had to send the TV for repair. twice. The picture quality is OK for a TV at this price point but the Dolby Vision default makes Netflix unwatchable! Sorry Sony, but this is the end of a long-standing relationship.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Good tv, but brings down my home network When the clocks changed to British summer time, 3 other TVs on the house were fine, the Sony caused the network to crash

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not lived up to my expectations Had the TV for 12 months now, good points fed a good source in ie 4k video and it sings, but has issues, Image smearing is high most lateral movement of characters produces huge amounts of blur. ERC is an issue, consistently fails , mean a complete reset to get the ARC to work. Looking at a white screen, the corners are DARK with massive vignette visable and patches of darkness are clearly visible all over the screen. 1st time buying SONY tv, i have always been a Samsung customer and will be returning back to them or another manufacturer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from People comment on my tv I bought this two months ago and it’s one of those things that I didn’t realise how much I’d like it until I bought it. The image just feels like at a cinema and people have pointed out they’re not sure what’s real life and what’s on the screen. 5/5 would recommend

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Overall experience with product Tv blacked screen just out of warranty luckily had 5 year warranty with Sony I am now waiting for my fourth replacement to be delivered as the others had damage and issues with screen when unpacked from box also have issues with apps not working and have to reload to get them back ? All replacements come from Belgium so have to wait 2 to 3 weeks when I could get one in a couple of days from a retailer ?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great TV shame the WiFi is awful. Can't fault the TV apart from it persistently saying it isn't connected to the Internet, even though the WiFi signal on the TV is excellent... or so it says. The TV therefor has trouble connecting to some streaming apps but not others. Very peculiar. Otherwise the TV is great.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good picture but soured by slow operating system The Android operating system is slow and unresponsive. After 2 years it seems to be getting worse too...also updates seem to have caused problems like long reboots when turning the set on from standby and the TV automatically turning itself off while being watched.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great picture, terribly slow! I’ve had this TV a while now, overall I’m happy with it but using the TV is a pain, the processor onboard running android TV is clearly underpowered for the task, switching apps is slow and switching to tv mode (YouView) is absolutely criminal they thought this was acceptable performance. I would NOT but this TV again simply for the Sluggish UI, which is a real shame as the picture quality is great.
