Bass you can feel
Packing a combination of 12 inch woofer with 300 watt amp gives the SB-1000 bass extension that you can physically feel. This low level frequency response brings the best out of soundtracks, getting you more involved than ever with the action.
Keeping it tight
Despite its might, the SB-1000 is subtle, too. A powerful magnet and well-ventilated chassis space means the woofer can move with speed and precision. This prevents a boomy bass from spoiling both music and soundtracks. The bass is there – but only when it should be.
Compact SVS design
As SVS’s lead-in model, the SB-1000 is compact and room-friendly. Without the need to worry about blocking a port outlet, the sealed cabinet is easy to position. Considering the 12 inch woofer, the cabinet is about as small as is possible, with rounded edges to further reduce the visual bulk.
Built to stand the test of time
Featuring a robust, MDF cabinet, the SB-1000 not only provides resonance-free, low distortion sound but is also built to last. The Black Ash finish provides a neutral setting to blend with most TVs and other speakers. A fabric grille is also supplied, keeping the woofer protected when needed.

Very Detailed Bass & Room Shaking Performance!
I'm using this subwoofer with a Cambridge Audio Minx system (3x MIN22's up front & 2x MIN12's for the surround) as this is one of the only aftermarket subwoofers that has a crossover frequency that goes high enough to fully mesh with the Minx's.
The sound stage this little package creates in movies is truly mind blowing! It's gonna sound even better once the subwoofer has been bedded in and my new AVR is in place once funds allow!
This subwoofer replaced my broken Cambridge Audio Aero 9. The SVS has far more detail than the Aero 9 and it performs just as deep when it needs to.
The subwoofer always stays very well composed even at very high volumes with not a hint of distortion. It performs exceptionally well with music due to it's sealed nature.
Very highly recommended for use with the CA Minx speakers (easily blows most of the Bose Soundtouch systems away!).
