Built and finished to the highest standards, the Teac TN300 appeals to the discerning vinyl fan.

Quality construction

Like all the best turntables, the Teac TN300 puts engineering quality above bells and whistles. Starting with the chassis, solid MDF construction is used for mass damping and reduced distortion. The belt driven, die-cast aluminium platter is also of audiophile quality and is connected to a stainless steel spindle with a bronze housing, giving low resistance and high durability. A high-torque motor offers stable and consistent speed for a solid and dynamic sound.

High-grade tone-arm
The tone-arm follows the same principles as the main turntable base in offering top quality engineering for the best sound. Metal construction, low-resistance bearings and adjustable weight and anti-skating make this a proper audiophile-grade design.

Audio Technica cartridge included
The final piece of impressive spec on this turntable is the inclusion of an Audio Technica AT95E cartridge. Highly regarded in its own right, it's a great bonus to have bundled in with the turntable. Its elliptical-shaped stylus provides a balanced and distortion-free sound that's also kind to your records in terms of its low wear rate.

Built-in phono stage and USB connectivity
With a built-in phono stage, this Teac turntable can be plugged into any amp or AV receiver with standard phono inputs. Furthermore, a USB output allows you to copy records straight on to your computer's hard disk, from where it's easy to download the music onto your MP3 player or stream to your hi-fi, components permitting.

Choice of finishes
Matching its high standard of performance, the choice of finishes is truly luxurious. Choose from traditional cherry wood or black or for a more modern look, choose the vivid red or ice white versions. Whichever you choose, the TN300 is quite the attention grabber.

Give your vinyl collection a new lease of life with a turntable that sounds every bit as good as it looks - and then some!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for me. I researched for a long time to find what I guess is a mid-range [price-wise] turntable which was ok for me to connect straight to my Sonos. I am returning to vinyl after CDs, MP3s, and Spotify etc. My favourite old albums from the 70s and 80s still sound good enough for me [ I am no hifi expert ] and I deliberately chose this because I didn't have to buy an Amp, new speakers etc., in case my longing to turn, clean and place an LP on a turntable was a passing fad. I only wish I hadn't given away 150-200 vinyl albums for £10 in the early 90s!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful piece of furniture Bought two of these to play my old 7 inch vinyl. They look beautiful together. Start up time is good, so it’s possible to mix records by using the rotary switch. The lack of auto stop is a minor irritation. I experienced huge hum problems when plugged through a phono socket but eliminated this by plugging into the video input and using the built in pre amps.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Premium sounds at a budget I bought the Teac record player a couple of weeks back and have not looked back since. Having looked online at countless turntables I thought I'd go to Richer sounds and ask some advice - I was dealt with amazingly and told what options I could go for and I was shown how easy it was to set the arm weights. I decided to opt for the Teac as I’ve heard good things about - it was pretty straight forward to set up and the instructors were pretty clear to understand , Im running in through a Denon hifi and it sounds incredible for the price and I wish I'd bought it sooner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent mid-range purchase. Good starter turntab I was looking for a good sounding/not too expensive turntable. I'm not an audiophile and so wasn't interested in the higher-end products but still wanted something decent sounding. TEAC TN 300 is worth the price tag. It comes with a pre-approval and so connects directly into my current audio set-up (although a separate cable purchase was required; Richer Sounds advised on what was needed. Their customer service was excellent) and sounds good. Minor point? Tonearm doesn't return automatically, but that shouldn't put you off. Turntable is straightforward to set up and was in use within half an hour. Recommended.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works a treat I haven’t owned a record deck for about 25 years. I bought this primarily to convert my old vinyl to digital. It’s a long job, so I didn’t want to regret not having bought something half decent. I’m not a hi fi buff, but it seems to do the job. It sounds fine to me, no rumble and looks great. And the dust cover is practical.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great piece of kit Wanted to transfer my vinyl to digital for a while. There’s a lot of choice budget wise but I didn’t want any of the low end stuff. Not an audiophile, I haven’t got the money for that, but this sounds great as well as making it pretty easy to transfer ( once I worke Audacity out). Putting it together was simple, balancing the tone arm hasn’t changed since my last deck died so that was easy. Not detected any speed issues with it being a new belt either. Had a bit of a worry when I played the first record on it. The sound was really muddy. Looked on line, turned the built in phono on the deck off and the room was filled with a truly great sound. If you’ve got vinyl that has never been released on cd and want to get it in your car or take it on the plane etc I’d highly recommend this deck. (Cassettes we’re so much easier). If you just want a good deck because you’re getting into vinyl then you’d be happy with this too. Like it in the black too, matches the rest of the separates.
