Built and finished to the highest standards, the Teac TN300 appeals to the discerning vinyl fan.
Quality construction for the best sound quality
Like all the best turntables, the Teac TN300 puts the highest engineering quality above bells and whistles. Starting with the chassis, a solid MDF construction is used for mass damping and reduced distortion. The belt driven, die-cast aluminium platter is also of audiophile quality. This is connected to a stainless steel spindle with bronze housing, giving low resistance and high durability. A high torque motor offers stable and consistent speed for a solid and dynamic sound.
High grade tonearm
The tonearm follows the same principles as the main turntable base in offering top quality engineering for the best sound. Metal construction, low resistance bearings and adjustable weight and anti-skating make this a proper audiophile grade design.
Audio Technica cartridge included
The final piece of impressive spec on this turntable is the inclusion of an Audio Technica AT95E cartridge. Highly regarded in its own right, it's a great bonus to have this bundled in with the turntable. With its elliptical-shaped stylus, this award-winning cartridge provides a balanced and distortion-free sound that's also kind to your records in terms of its low wear rate.
Built-in phono stage and USB Connectivity
With a built-in phono stage, this Teac turntable can be plugged into any amp or AV receiver with standard phono inputs. Furthermore, a USB output allows you to copy records straight on to your computer hard disk from where it's easy to download music straight on to your MP3 player or stream to other hi-fi.
Choice of luxurious finishes
Matching its high standard of performance, the choice of finishes is truly luxurious. Choose from traditional cherry wood or black or try something a little different with the vivid red or ice white versions. Whichever you choose, the TN300 is quite the attention grabber.
Give your vinyl collection a new lease of life with a turntable that sounds every bit as good as it looks - and then some!

Sounds great!
Everyone is saying that vinyl sounds better than itunes and my new turntable definitely does! My only criticism is that my sound system has a direct cartridge input and the only output from my Teac turntable is an aux RTS signal. That being said, there would be some signal loss between the cartridge and my amp so the aux route is proably the best way to go anyway overall I’m definitely happy!

An excellent well made piece of equipment
I bought this 3 weeks ago after researching what was available on the market. It was to replace a venerable Samsui SR 222 which had finally died after nearly 40 years service.
I chose the TEAC deck for it’s traditional look and design. Some of the more “modern” looking decks got reasonable reviews but did not look as robust as the TEAC.
The deck itself is well engineered and the set up instructions clear and easy to follow. The sound reproduction is first class with plenty of separation and detail.
The process of buying it was about as easy as it could be. The sales assistant at Richer Sounds Leeds was professional and helpful.

Impressive Turntable
I decided to check this turntable out against the TN-100, my initial choice. Despite a very negative first review at the start of the listings (why did this buyer not ask for a replacement before writing this?) I purchased one on 26th January. The spec. was similar to my old Pioneer model so I paid the extra. Out of the box this turntable looks really good, nicely finished polished plinth and very stylish tone arm and mountings. It set up easily, once the fiddly balancing part with the arm and adjustments was done. It sounds really good and the suspension feet work well, though I need to build a new unit to house the amp, cd player etc. For performance and looks, this is definitely worth considering.
