GREAT SOUNDBAR
I have never had a soundbar with a TV before so this was very different for me and obviously I have nothing to compare it against.
The soundbar was much bigger than I expected when it arrived and as I was not fitting it to the wall had to decide where I could place it. It now sits under the TV and while not probably the best place fits my requirements.
The device was easy to set up and the wireless sub woofer connected easily when it was all switched on. The sound from the soundbar is so much different than that from the TV. It gives a richer sound and makes viewing the TV so much better. I have not tried connecting other devices to the soundbar yet but will try that later when I am more used to it.
Overall I would recommend the soundbar.

It’s ok.
Won’t connect to app, says soundbar isn’t supported. Is there anyway around this LG? Also, won’t play sound from tv right to soundbar from Sony tv. Only plays sound as pass through from ps5 etc through soundbar to tv. Also no Home Screen to see settings all on remote.

Stopped working after 18 months.
I bought this sound bar and subwoofer just over a year ago which means sadly mine is out of warranty. Over night the subwoofer decided to stop working. I’ve tried everything to get it working. I have no clue if it’s broken or not. But no one at LG will help me! I’ve been given 2 telephone numbers neither of which worked. I’m tearing my hair out and very upset that I can’t seem to speak to a single person who could offer some advice.

Bad centerspeaker
Bought this LG GX to match my 65" TV.. Best looking soundbar out there.. No doubt..
BUT I cant understand why LG has designed this soundbar so the centerspeaker is not centeret in the soundbar???
LG have chosen a display at the center and then move the centerspeaker a bit to the left.... This is just STUPID.
You can cleary hear its not centeret when speaking :(

Slim profile compromised by huge power brick.
This review is based solely upon installation challenges rather than sound quality. I got this soundbar free as part of a great deal from Richers Sounds when purchasing an LG G3 65" TV. I was really excited about installing this and looking forward to a beautifully minimalist set-up with both the soundbar and the TV being flat to the wall. This was until I discovered that the Soundbar comes with a 3cm deep 11cm x 6cm external power brick. As I have zero appetite to chisel out a space for it in my solid chimney breast, I now have to lose it behind the TV which means that I can no longer us the included TV bracket either. To me, this is really poorly conceived as now my flat to the wall capable TV will need to accommodate a 3CM deep power brick behind it and with an allowance for a little cooling, probably 3.5CM. I am now debating whether to sell the soundbar and either live with the TV sound or invest in a more thoroughly engineered solution.

Don’t buy
Great when it worked but our subwoofer also stopped working, will not stay paired with the bar and again as per other reviews was just out of 2years so disappointed to have purchased something so expensive to match with our tv and got this fault.

Subwoofer stopped working
Bought this GX sound bar and subwoofer just over 2 years ago. The item has very rarely been used however since the last software update this has died!
