”Another triumph for Epson; this is the best entry-level 4K home cinema projector around.” ’What Hi-Fi?’ – 5 Star review.
Big screen entertainer
Whether you’re gaming, watching movies or the big sports event, nothing beats the thrill of a big screen. The EH-TW7000 offers an effortless 100” display in most rooms (at a distance from the wall of 2.95m), plus the ability to expand this five times, given a big enough space.
See more detail, with PRO-UHD 4K enhanced
PRO-UHD 4K enhanced takes native Full HD (1080p) resolution and uses sophisticated 4K Enhancement processing allows the EH-TW7000 to double its frame rate, creating crisp and clear images. Although not strictly a 4K projector, it gives it a much more detailed, denser image than an equivalent Full HD version. The EH-TW7000 also supports 4K streaming services from providers such as Netflix.
Lens shift and keystone correction
With lens shift and keystone correction, the Epson EHTW7000 is easy to install. The ability to physically move the lens by +/- 60% vertically and +/- 24 horizontally reduces picture distortion when mounting the projector in awkward positions. The vertical keystone correction offers a digital version of the same thing with a wide adjustment of +/- 30% in both vertical and horizon plains.
Epson's 3LCD technology for super-bright images
Thanks to 3LCD tech, this Epson offers an extremely high quality image. With an exceptional brightness figure of 3000 lumens, the EH-TW7000 is easily watchable in rooms with ambient light from windows and other sources. With its 40,000:1 contrast ratio, the Epson also offers inky deep blacks and precise detail within even the darkest scenes.
Optional 3D
Featuring active 3D, the EH-TW7000 takes your viewing experience to a new dimension. With 3D depth adjustment, it’s easy to get just the right effect in your room. Simply purchase the optional ELPGS03 active 3D glasses and you're good to go.
Bluetooth sound output
Getting big sound to match the big picture is easy with the EH-TW7000. Pair the Bluetooth output with a compatible soundbar, AV system or Bluetooth speaker and enjoy effective, wireless sound.
Twin HDMI and USB
The EHTW7000 is a flexible projector with a wide range of connections. There are two HDMI sockets – perfect for a Blu-ray player and games console. Alternatively, use one of the HDMI sockets for a video streamer. This can even be powered via the USB Mini-B power output. Standard USB sockets are also on hand for connecting your media devices and playing back stored photos or video.
Make movie, gaming or sports night a real thrill, with the Epson EH-TW7000.

Stunning picture out the box
Bought an Eh-tw7000 to replace an Optoma UHD42 which I felt was not doing justice to the rest of my setup.
Boy have they worked on the Epson, as always What Hifi got it spot on.
The Optoma was very difficult to get the picture set up, needed a lot of adjustment.
The Epson looks stunning on default settings,.even when installed in a sub optimal position.
Unfortunately I tried to.buy this when I got the optoma and was like send teeth trying to get one.
Using with an HDFURY Arcana to use LLDV and its absolutely stunning.
Colours are vivid and accurate, Even dark scenes are a pleasure to watch.
And as always superb service from Richer sounds.
Would.give this 6 stars if I could.
Good advice as well,.as I was tempted to go for the 7100, but I really can't see how it could be worth an extra £500.
With correct equipment, and properly installed this projector is surely impossible to beat for under £1000.

Great Service, keep local shops
Spoke to the staff at Glasgow shop and were very helpful, would have purchased through them but live in Aberdeen but they need the credit. Great to speak to local shops and not a contact centre for advice as it shows that they know what they are talking about.

Good pictures. Robust machine
Epson Home Projector EH-TW7000
Paul at Richer Sounds in Cambridge, was very helpful and knowledgeable.
I needed to replace my old Optoma HD25 projector that had done valiant
service over many years. His first choice was the Epson, followed by the
BenQW2700. The BenQ looked lovely and sleek, whereas the Epson looks
the size of a Hippo! I went with the Epson as it has better specs. I've only
fired it up once so am still experimenting with the settings. However, initial
impressions are GOOD. It's built well, (It's big! Probably over twice the size
of my old Optoma), and the menus seem straightforward. It has a thousand
and one picture settings which I will experiment with over the coming days.
It was initially set to 'Bright Cinema', which was too bright for my 8" screen
with somewhat over-satuated colours, (especially reds). These were easy to
knock back in the settings menu. Better still, was choosing 'Cinema' (as apposed
to Bright Cinema), which helped a lot. I can imagine the saturation levels that
come as a default setting with Bright Cinema come into their own if you have
a much larger screen, needing a longer throw, or you want to use the projector
with a lot of ambient light. Standout features include both horizontal and vertical
lens shift, as well as - and in addition to - Keystone correction, so being off-centre
is never a problem. The dizzying amount of controls was a little daunting, but a
lot of it is automated; the projector sensing what is connected. Currently many
of the settings are set on auto, which is working just fine! So - good picture
quality. It's reasonably quiet, (quieter than my old Optoma and that was never
an issue). And, although a bit of a beast, it looks smart. There's no Ethernet socket,
so firmware upgrades have to be done via a USB port via a wireless LAN dongle,
(not included) and it does not have a'Trigger Out' port, should you wish to
automate the opening and closing of screen curtains, as in a bespoke cinema
room. This model does not come with built in speakers, whereas model TW7100
does. However, the 7100 does come with a Trigger Out port, which is a little
bizarre, as - if you have a bespoke cinema room with surround sound and flashy
opening curtains - the first thing you are going to switch off is the internal
speakers! Not that I will ever need it, but for my money, the trigger port is on
the wrong unit. Downsides? No printed manual. Who supplies them these days?
Nobody, which is a shame. It comes with a DVD disc that holds a PDF manual,
The manual is good, but I would have liked some supplementary explanations.
When is it best to use 'auto iris' or should one leave it off? What standards,
(if any), are the Cinema presets based on? And what is 'Dynamic Mode'?
The explanation for this is that it is the brightest mode Best for prioritising
Brightness(no really!) but no further explanation, or what the difference
between this and the 'Bright Cinema' mode is. Equally, the 'Natural' mode,
(best for faithfully reproducing the colour of a source image and recommended
when performing colour image adjustments), but no explanation whether these
adjustments will hold if choosing a different mode. An understanding of
supported Codecs? If - and by how much -Lens shift and Keystone correction
degrades the picture? etc etc. I've only skimmed the manual, No doubt there's
lots more. The point being that a supplementary booklet, explaining these
settings in more depth would be really helpful.

Amazing service altogether!
Just bought all the items for a cinema experience. Didn’t have a clue about what we’d need (other than a projector and screen)! so the advice of Paul at the Sheffield was greatly appreciated. Paul worked with us to ensure we understood everything, he was extremely patient in answering my (persistent)! queries - always very quick to respond, and the prices of goods were competitive too. We’ve only just take receipt of the items (super quick -received the day after ordering)! but will be sure to report in once all is installed. Thank you!

First projector
We purchased the EH-TW7000 as our first foray into the world of home projection and so far are very impressed. It offered the right balance of throw ratio and performance for our budget.
