Keystone correction for easier installation
Making the HD145X a cinch to set up is Keystone correction. With the ability to digitally shift the image by +/- 40 degrees in the vertical plain, the HD145X fits locations that are more difficult and enables a wider choice of screen options.
Gaming Mode and 24p
Getting the best from gaming, this projector features a special Gaming Mode. This optimises the projector's settings to give lightning fast response, maximum contrast and vivid colours, making gaming on the big screen even more involving. For movies, the HD145X is also 24P compatible. This means that it replays films shot at 24 frames per second at the correct speed, without glitching - just like at the cinema.
Optional 3D

Bargain Home Cinema Projector and great Service
I bought this projector to replace my aging existing Benq projector and I'm really pleased with my choice with a much improved picture from the Optoma and (in eco) mode near silent running. Its perfectly visible in a lit room but much better in a darkened room for the full home cinema experience. As always great advice and service from Richer sounds and quick delivery.

Does what we wanted
It does exactly what we wanted, and does it really well, without the extraneous features of other products.
The picture is bright, crisp and clear even on tthe eco setting.
Be aware though that it is designed to be placed closed to the level of the bottom of the screen. We need to have ours high enough to shine over our heads and the screen shift function hasn't enough range to bring the picture down to the screen so we've had to mount it slightly lower than we'd have liked and had to tilt it forwards slightly (in spite of the admonition not to in the manual, but so far without any noticeable ill effects.

Super clear image and a breeze to set up
Purchased this for an outside setup to watch Glastonbury in the garden, it performed beyond my expectations. A really clear full hd image was super easy to achieve

Easy to use, good image
This projector is nothing fancy, with just a single HDMI port and a basic black plastic shell, but it gets the job done and produces a very nice image. Brightness gets very high, contrast is good and overall it's great for watching films or presentations on a big screen.
