If you want a big screen in a smaller room, an ultra-short throw projector is the way to go. Choose a screen size from 65 inch to a whopping 120 inch, with the projector just 40 to 82cm from the screen. The EH-LS500B sits comfortably on a table or cabinet in front of the wall, making it a lot less intrusive than regular projectors.

PRO-UHD 4K enhanced takes native Full HD (1080p) resolution and uses sophisticated 4K Enhancement processing lets the EH-LS500 double its frame rate, creating crisp and clear images. Although not strictly a 4K projector, it gives it a much more detailed, denser image than an equivalent Full HD version. The EH-LS500 also supports 4K streaming services from providers such as Netflix.

Spectacular.... but one piece of advice
My first 'serious' projector and it hasn't disappointed.
The image is very impressive, contrast, motion, black levels etc look superb in my opinion. Slight negative is the fan noise, I wasn't expecting TV quiet and for a movie it is hooked up so to all extents and purposes drowned out but it is on the noisy side, unless you opt for the slightly less bright mode (which is still bright enough by any standards).
Now for the 'but', if you're used to a conventional projector (ie not ultra short throw) then the screen imperfections are never noted. With UST though, because the image is coming from such a short and distorted angle it magnifies any area that isn't perfectly flat. There is a YouTube video demo on this. I think i'll paint the wall and beam straight onto it but a useful learning that I wasn't aware of as i'd focused on the projector itself.
£2,500 was in my book a lot to pay for a projector but I wouldn't change it, it sits well in the realms of 'Man-maths' to justify as an "investment" but you won't be disappointed!

Very happy with this short throw projector would recommend it.
Would now like to find a suitable AV cabinet to house it.

Perfect projector
Excellent picture quality, great contrast and very sharp. Pretty easy to set up as well. Only negative was the price but you get what you pay for
