The unique sound of valves
Rather than using transistors, the Unison Research Simply Italy brings valves into play, giving a unique sound. The amp uses a combination of ECC82 and EL34 valves for a fluid and natural sound that can only come from a valve amp. At 12 watts per channel, power is low (requiring high sensitivity speakers), but the upshot is a smooth, flowing sound that’s highly addictive.
Adjustable feedback for your choice of sound setting
Two settings for feedback (5dB and 1.8dB), let you tailor the sound to suit. Feedback effects a wide range of parameters, from distortion to bandwidth. The best way to choose the right setting is simply by listening. With the Simply Italy, you can even switch between the two settings while the music’s playing.

Unlike some ‘barebones’ valve amps, the Simply Italia has all the basics you need. Five, line level inputs cover even the most comprehensive hi-fi systems. There’s a line level output for recording, too. For convenience, a remote control is also supplied.
