Expensive but good
The price tag is definitely in the 'too pricy' category which is why I'm giving it 4 stars. It is a good cable and I get no noticeable lag despite the long cable running distance.

Buy cheap buy twice
I read that HDMI signals can fail over longer lengths so I pushed the boat out to get this fairly pricey Wyrestorm hybrid active optical cable. It’s been routed inside a wall and under the flooring to connect a projector to AVR and no picture problems so far. However once it went in the wall I didn’t want to have to take it out. Rather than risk a cheap cable failing on me I sought out a quality product from Richer Sounds. As it’s 8K compatible it should last a long time while we wait for any suitable content. Thanks to Rehan for helping me out just before closing time and getting it shipped next day.

Does a job and does it well.
I picked this up after having intermittent issues with a 15M "traditional" HDMI cable - black outs etc. And this works, enough said on that.
It's a bit unnerving to pull through walls/conduit given it makes a point of saying it's delicate and not too pull too hard - it's a very narrow cable and I could live with it being thicker for the sake of being robust, but for others how thin it is will be a bonus.
It's a lot of money compared to a £20 traditional cable of the same length of course, but trying the cheap option first turned out to be false economy. If you're going through the hassle of integrated cables especially, do it properly and do it once. Lesson learned.
