For fully immersive cinema sound, AV separates can’t be beaten. Take a listen to the Yamaha HTR-2071 and hear the difference for yourself.
Fully immersive, 5.1 channel sound
Soundbars are great but there's nothing that can beat the sound of a separates AV system. With five channels of sound from a discrete amplifier, the HTR-2071 surrounds you in rich, low distortion sound – just like at the cinema. The amplifier also delivers a handy 70 watts per channel (6 ohms), meaning it can cope with even the punchiest-sounding blockbusters. There’s also an 'Extra Bass' function. This gives a deeper, richer bass response and works really well with small speakers and at lower volume levels.
Ready for HDR
For compatibility with high quality video formats, all the HDMI sockets are compatible with HDR Video, 4K/60p and BT.2020. Four HDMI inputs let you connect a Blu-ray, games console, set-top box and computer – enough for an entire home cinema system.
Make the most of your TV with UHD 4K Upscaling
If you’ve got a 4K TV then you can use to its full potential – whatever the source. Thanks to UHD 4K upscaling, any Full HD signal you input into the Yamaha is upscaled to UHD 4K. This means that HD TV and standard Blu-ray looks more detailed and lifelike than ever before.
Flexible processing
Another advantage of going for AV separates is the inclusion of powerful surround sound processing. As well as decoding of both Dolby and DTS audio formats, the HTR-2071 features Yamaha's famous DSP Surround programs. With 17 modes from The Roxy Theatre to a concert Hall in Munich, the HTR-2071 gives a variety of acoustic settings for a unique sound. Added to this, four SCENE selections ensure that you always have the best setting when watching films or listening to music.
Connect up all your sources
With no fewer than four HDMI inputs, the HTR-2071 is flexible enough for the most complex AV systems. There’s also a wide range of other inputs for older sources you might have, like DVD and CD players. An optical, two coaxial and two RCA phono analogue inputs let you connect five audio sources – a complete Hi-Fis worth and taking the total number of inputs to nine.
Hear the bigger picture, with the fully immersive Yamaha HTR-2071.
