MusicCast for music all around your home
The Yamaha CRXN470D is part of Yamaha's hugely impressive network audio system, MusicCast. With MusicCast you can control all your compatible Yamaha MusicCast products via your smartphone or tablet. Play the same music on all the components or split the sound into different zones for different moods in each room; the choice is yours. The MusicCast CONTROLLER app lets you operate the system around your home and change settings quickly and easily.
Advanced networking including Apple AirPlay and Bluetooth
Built-in Apple AirPlay means that you can stream music from your Apple iPod Touch, iPhone, iPad or other compatible Apple device, wirelessly. If you use another brand of smartphone or tablet then you've also got Bluetooth, for easy music streaming from your portable device.
Wi-Fi and DLNA for effortless streaming
Also standard with the CRXN470D is Wi-Fi, giving easy connection to your home network. A DLNA certified connection makes streaming a breeze. You can access your stored music from PC, laptop or NAS drive and listen to Internet radio stations and music services such as Spotify Premium, Qobuz and Napster.
Bluetooth output for connecting up headphones
As an added bonus, the Yamaha CRX-N470D features a Bluetooth output. This lets you wirelessly stream music to compatible Bluetooth headphones or even other Bluetooth speakers.
DAB tuner and CD
As well as its massive range of streaming options this Yamaha system also covers radio and CD. The tuner radio features DAB and FM bands to cover a wide spectrum of stations on both digital and analogue broadcasts. The CD player is of Yamaha's usual high standard and will play WMA and MP3 encoded discs.
USB and two AUX inputs
With its handy, front-mounted USB interface, you can easily plug in a memory stick for playback of your stored music files.
