THE PURPOSE OF THE DACMAGIC PLUS

The purpose behind the DacMagic Plus is simple: to make your music sound better, whatever the digital source. For this reason, the DacMagic Plus is now attuned to more of your music sources than ever. As before, you can plug in your Blu-ray, DVD or CD player via optical or coaxial connections (there are two of each) and enjoy up-sampled music quality that's ahead of what you'd expect from CD. The USB connection for your computer is still there but on the latest DacMagic it now supports 24-bit transfer for "better than CD quality". This means that music files stored on your PC, laptop or NAS drive in top 24/192 quality can be streamed, uncompressed, through the DacMagic Plus and enhanced by its Digital to Analogue Conversion.

DACMAGIC BENEFITS NOW AVAILABLE FOR YOUR PHONE

One of the most exciting features about the Plus model is the option of being able to stream music from your smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth. With the optional BT100 audio receiver connected, simply link up via high quality apt-X or standard Bluetooth and stream your stored or streaming tunes from your device to the DacMagic and on into your hi-fi. At last, convenience meets quality!

SIMPLY THE BEST SPEC IN ITS CLASS

In this respect, the DacMagic Plus starts spectacularly well with highest quality digital circuitry possible at its price. Twin Wolfson WM8740 DACs, implemented in a dual differential mode are complemented by a new Anagram Technologies AFT2 24 bit/384 kHz up-sampling circuit. Up-sampling conventional CD "stretches" the format to give the highest resolution possible. It also aids standard 24-bit/192kHz recordings with a faster sampling rate for less jitter.

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR SOUND QUALITY

Up-sampling sound gives a smoother, more relaxed sound quality with added detail. You'll also notice enhanced depth of sound and a more natural quality without the "edge" that can afflict digital music. You'll hear every detail, including the odd cough, squeaky chair and flutter of sheet music; in short, it's like being there for real!

THIS TIME IT'S MORE THAN JUST A DAC

Not content with producing the best sounding DAC in its class, Cambridge Audio have added a few extras that make the Plus so much more than just a DAC. First off, the DacMagic Plus comes with a dedicated headphone amp and volume control. Much higher quality than a standard headphone socket, this is truly the way to go for fans of cans. More revealing, more dynamic and with less noise, the headphone output gives your cans a whole new lease of life. In addition to this, the DacMagic Plus comes with a new digital pre-amp function. Combined with the volume control you can now connect directly to active speakers or a power amp for a shorter signal path and superior sound quality.

DELIVERY INFORMATION

All orders are shipped via our friends at DPD, except high value desirable items such as plasma and LCD TVs over 37 inches, which are sent fully insured with a specialist carrier.

If this is your first order with us, please ensure that the only address you enter is the credit card billing address, as this is the only address to which we can deliver. If you have previously placed an order on our website, you will be offered an alternative delivery address if your order value is
less than £500. Also, ensure you only click the submit order button once, as it will take a minute or so to process.

Delivery occurs within 6 working days (unless ordered on a 1-3 working days service). If after this time you have still to take receipt of your order email webaftersales@richersounds.com providing your order number, name, address, and brief details of what you ordered. We strive to answer all queries within a working day, although at busy times we do ask that you bear with us. Please submit your query only once, as repeated emails/telephone calls only serves to slow down our response time and can result in further delays to your order.

All deliveries must be signed for. They will NOT be left in garages, sheds, outside loos, porches etc. You must examine the goods before signing for them to ensure they are in good condition - if packaging is damaged please do not accept goods. Instead notify us as soon as possible. If there is no-one in to sign for the goods, they will be taken back to the courier depot and a card left.

If we are out of stock of an item or there is a problem, we will contact you as soon as is possible.

 
DELIVERY TRACKING

Once you have placed an order and the order has been dispatched, you will receive an e-mail (usually the day before delivery) from DPD containing your tracking information. Please note that this does not apply to plasma screens or accessories such as remote controls, cables, leads etc.
