Boasting Cinema 3D TV, Smart TV and sleek new styling, the LG 42LM620T is a game changer.

CINEMA TV WITH 2D TO 3D CONVERSION

Cinema 3D TV is the popular passive 3D system from LG. It's simpler than the active system but, despite this, in many ways it's superior. For a start, passive 3D TV is considered more comfortable to watch with less flicker. Other technical advantages include a wider viewing angle and brighter images. Then there's the cost and convenience consideration to take into account. The glasses are much cheaper and also considerably lighter to wear. The lack of batteries onboard also means they don't have to be recharged. Ultimately, Active 3D remains the more technically advanced but if you've been put off by its lack of comfort or cost of glasses then the new Cinema 3D TV is for you. Of course, being passive doesn't in any way affect the immersive experience of 3D TV. You still get the vivid, projecting images and the reach in depth that appears to make the screen "disappear". What's more, with 2D to 3D conversion, you can get the 3D experience with any program you care to watch - whether filmed in 3D or not!

400HZ MCI FOR SUPER-SHARP MOTION

Whether you watch in 2D or 3D, the LG 42LM620T offers an engaging performance. The LED backlight panel offers strong contrast and deep blacks. As well as the bright, detailed and natural picture quality, the LG 42LM620T leads the class in terms of motion smoothness. Thanks to 400Hz MCI (Motion Clarity Index) processing, 3D images are sharper and 2D has less blur with fast moving action scenes.

DUAL PLAY LETS YOU SEE THE WHOLE IMAGE

When used with optional glasses, the new Dual Play function lets you play a two-player game without having to split the screen! Special technology ensures each player sees only there part of the game on the entire screen.

ENHANCED SOUND QUALITY

Boosting the sound quality, you'll find LG's unique Infinite Surround sound for a more enveloping sound quality to match the picture. There are also seven other sound modes and tone controls for precise adjustment. LG's popular Clear Voice II is on hand to help out with "busy" and congested soundtracks where it can sometimes be tricky to make out dialogue. While it's certainly no match for a separate AV system, the onboard system is better than you might expect.

THE SMARTEST TV YET WITH OPTIONAL MAGIC REMOTE WHEEL

At the heart of this TV is LG Smart TV. This combines many features and presents them in an attractive and easy to use way. The list of features is extensive but some of the highlights include an app store and on-board web browser. This makes it easy to catch up with popular services such as YouTube, Facebook or catch-up TV sensation, the BBC iPlayer. In addition to these easily accessible apps, you can also search out your favourite websites using the browser. Thanks to DLNA compatibility you can also stream music from your PC or network attached storage system. Smart TV also makes it possible to browse your choices whilst still keeping an eye on the current channel being displayed in the corner of the screen. For even faster and more direct control, there's the new optional Magic Remote Wheel. This wheel lets you easily scroll through web pages, just as you'd do with a computer mouse. Connect to your network via an Ethernet cable or add a dongle for optional wi-fi connectivity. For all the smart new tech, the 42LM620T hasn't forgotten about the more traditional sockets. Four HDMIs are partnered with triple USBs, SCART, component and PC inputs for full compatibility with all your sources, new or old.

SLIM FRAME

With a new, slim frame, the 42LM620T has less frame to distract you. There's also a new design of stand that gives edge and presence to the LG's design, making it stand out from the crowd.

For a TV with style, smart connectivity and a glorious 3D picture quality, the LG 42LM620T is fantastic value.

Rated 4 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 great price for the t.v i bought this tv a month ago from richer sounds in romford. they had the best customer service ever special thanks to steve the store manager and mutly the sales advisor to very great people. not one negative for this tv you can link your android or iphone or tablet to this tv and use it as a mouse or keyboard, even a remote for the tv for that matter. great smart apps really good passive 3d even though there aint much differences between passive and active 3d. this tv you can use the cinema glasses instead of paying alot of money i.e for the active 3d glasses. but all rounder this tv is great even not in 3d the picture in 2d is perfect the full hd on this tv will not make you regret what you have purchased. 16 June 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Expected a it to be a little smarter Great tv, sounds good, speakers built in are ok. Smart functions are what I bought it for and unfortunatly they fall a little short. They are hard to control with the remote, NO 4OD or ITV player built in, you can access the itv player through the web browser but again it's a little clunky. 4OD didn't work through the web browser :( Maybe I should have got the samsung with then all built in?? 17 May 2013
