Featuring built-in Wi-Fi, a full web browser and a new, slimline bezel, the Panasonic TXL39E6B is smarter than ever!

LED PANEL WITH 100HZ BLB

Whatever you watch, it's hard not to be impressed by the quality of the Panasonic TX-L39E6 screen. Panasonic has used a new LED screen to give the best possible results. Using an LED screen means that that this TV isn't just slim, it also boasts a superb contrast ratio, making blacks appear deeper than ever and whites shine brightly. New to this model is 100Hz BLB (Back Light Blinking). This means that when watching action movies or sports programmes, the TXL39E6b has the speed and clarity to keep up with the action without motion blur.

SPACIOUS SOUND

In addition to offering a superb picture quality, the Panasonic TXL39E6 also offers good sound quality. Although no match for a separate home cinema system or soundbar, the built-in 20 watt amplifier provides a full-bodied sound quality. There are also both analogue (via headphones) and optical digital audio outputs; allowing you to easily improve the sound quality via a separate hi-fi or home cinema system.

SWIPE AND SHARE PLUS MY HOME SCREEN

New to this year's E6 range is Swipe and Share and My Home Screen functionality. Swipe and share lets you use a Panasonic VIERA app for smartphone media sharing. By using the app on your smartphone or tablet you can easily stream pictures, videos and music straight to the TV - no cables required! My home screen allows different users to personalise the home screen as they choose, for a bespoke user experience.

BETTER THAN EVER NETWORKING WITH BUILT-IN WI-FI

When it comes to connecting up, the TXL39E6B is one of the best Panasonics in its class yet. Featuring a Freeview HD tuner, the TX-L39E6B is ideal for making the most of High Definition TV. VIERA Connect brings together a host of features that make this much more than 'just' a TV. Stream video, photos and music from another source, such as your PC, via DLNA. Alternatively, use the Application-based browser to view shopping based functions, social media Apps and catch-up TV channels. New to this model is a web browser. The web browser also supports HTML5 pages, ensuring you can surf the web just as you would do on a PC. Use one of the two USB inputs and enjoy music from many different file types via the dedicated media player. With such a comprehensive networking ability, it's good to see that the TXL39E6B now gives you the choice of connecting by either Ethernet or the built-in wi-fi - no extra dongle required.

MORE STYLISH THAN BEFORE

While previous Panasonic E-series LED TVs have had excellent picture quality, they haven't always been the sleekest or most compact: that all changes with the TX-L39E6B. Using a super-slim bezel, the TXL39E6B has the presence and style to match its performance. The stand is equally sleek and matches the silver frame surround.

Smarter than ever in all senses of the word, the Panasonic TXL39E6b has moved the game on yet again.

Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 6 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Looks great with picture to match Was going for the 32 inch but went for the 39 inch instead. With the thin bezel it's size is perfect. Easy to set up including the Wi-Fi . Picture quality really good although the colour settings took some patience to get perfect but well worth the effort. The sound is adequate for me but you will need a sound bar if your into Hi-Fi . Wish there were more catch up apps. Overall a very good buy. 22 February 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Good TV useless Smart function As a TV it is very good. Looks good with its thin silver edge and base - my wife hated cleaning our previous shiny black Toshiba, the dust did not clear. Performs well as a TV. BUT is useless as a SMART TV for browsing or for most catchup TV. Will not allow Adobe Flash update/use for online TV or videos. e.g.no ITV Catchup or 4 OD (BBCi is included as a separate app). 06 December 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Lives up to expectations I'm not a TV buff --- or should that be nerd--- just wanted a bigger screen & thought that Smart TV would be good. Only had the Viera a week, but it's fine. It's good looking, super slim & while I can't get excited about the picture & sound, they are perfectly acceptable. The stand is easy to attach, but it has a hole in the base & they suggest that you use this to screw the base to whatever it stands on --- I don't think so. Easy to set up, no problem getting an internet connection. Haven't tried all the features yet, but so far, so good. 10 July 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good looker Very pleased with the picture clarity in a brightly lit room . I was nt expecting much from the sound having read reviews but I am pleasantly surprised by the volume 33% is plenty. It looks good on the wall with the narrow silver bevel and slim profile. One point to consider on wall mounted installations is the aerial socket is flush againt the wall, this required altering the wall & a 90degree plug fitting - still a tight fit) 02 July 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Superb smart function and great picture. Great wi fi recognition; incredible picture with DVD blu ray and old video. Love the smart apps and easy and quick to set up even with DVD blu ray sky an video. 23 June 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Brilliant TV Very clear, crisp and natural looking HD pictures. SD also very, very good. Blu ray discs have a more subtle and nuanced contrast than most other HD TV's in its price range. Very pleasing to the eye both design and picture quality! Build quality is also vastly better than its main rivals. 11 May 2013
