  Dale, Store Manager

  Dale is the leader of our Newcastle store and has been a valuable part of the Richer Sounds family for over a decade now! Of course, being the manager, he has the best Hi-fi in the store (or he claims to); Dale knows a thing or two about good quality Hi-fi and is always more then happy to share his knowledge with our customers. Charming and endearing, turn to the man who runs the show for experienced advice on all your home entertainment needs.

  Ian, Deputy Manager

  Ian just loves his home entertainment kit! Whether it’s his media centre, home cinema package or his separate hi-fi just for his old rock vinyl! Ian will make sure you know all the options available to you and will happily point you in the right direction towards making that all important decision! Friendly, impartial and always willing to get the extra mile, you can count on our deputy manager to make sure you leave the store smiling.

  Cheeky-chappy Pete has been with us for over 10 years now and there is nothing he won’t do to make our customers happy! A jack of all trades, you can count on Pete to give you the best up-to-the-minute advice on all your home entertainment needs – whether its a TV for the bedroom or a hi-fi for the shed, you can rely on Pete to help you through your purchase with a huge grin – and he makes a great cup of tea as well.

  Our resident DJ and general lover of all things from the 80’s is Colin! With over 15 years of retail experience behind him, Colin has seen it all - He tells us he used to buy 2nd hand hi-fi when he was on the streets of Nottingham as a 10 year old – and now he’s still going strong! No task is to big or small, so come down to Clayton Street and check our outstanding offers – as well as Colin’s charming smile!

  Michelle is very experienced in the world of Hi-Def TV’s and Hi-fi! She believes there is a TV and sound system for every occasion and she’s ready to find a solution to any of your home entertainment requirements! Always happy to lend a hand and do a demonstration of any equipment a customer wants to see or hear, count on Michelle to make sure you make the right choice for you.

  Gav likes to think he is gorgeous… frankly, he’s not, but he does know a thing or two about TV’s and sound-systems! Self confessed speaker addict and lover of all things plasma, Gav is always willing to go above and beyond the call of duty to make sure a customer not only leaves with everything they need to enjoy there purchase – but also the correct information on how to get the best out of their equipment - you can still rely on our resident hippy pacifist to get the job done.

  Cumbria-born Euan simply loves going to customers houses and helping them install their 5.1 cinema systems! He just can’t get enough of it – he’s that dedicated to making sure our customers are enjoying the best quality audio to match their Hi-Def TV! Passionate guitarist and automobile enthusiast, Euan will donate as much time as he can to making sure you make the right decision on your all important purchase.

  Craig has years of experience under his belt and a vast knowledge of all things Hi-Fi. He started with Richer Sounds back in the dark ages and was even selling stone gramophones to fellow cavemen. His natural ability to learn has allowed him to become a connoisseur of all the latest technology. So if it’s a complete system you’re after, speak to Craig.   Paul, Stockroom Controller

  Our not quite human stockroom controller is Paul aka 'THE BEAST'. Paul doesn't have a national insurance number, we actually found him in a skip, searching for some speaker cable to clean his teeth with! We invited him in to stay and carry 50 inch plasmas out to customers' cars a while ago - and guess what - he's still here doing it now! Strong as an Ox, quick as a cheetah and daft as a brush, Paul is an essential part of the Richer Sounds Newcastle Team!
