If you already have a large CD collection and would like to hear it on your Astell & Kern HiRes portable music player, the CD Ripper MK II makes it quick, easy and to the highest quality standards. Simply load a CD into the Ripper, connect to your A&K player via USB and press the CD ripping icon on the display to begin.
Gracenote for album recognition
Whilst recording, your A&K player accesses Gracenote’s servers to find all the latest music data and automatically saves the information to the recorded album – making it easy to access the recordings. You can also manually enter metadata, such as album title, artist, genre and year or release, when this information isn’t available on Gracenote.
Works with a wide range of A&K players
You can connect via USB-C to Micro USB cable to the following players; SP1000, SP1000M, SE200, SE180, SE100, SR25, SA700 and KANN ALPHA.
Use a Micro 5-pin cable to connect to these; AK380, SK320, AK300, KANN, AK240, AK120 II, AK100 II, AK70 II and AK70.
Focused on sound quality
Using a triangular damper, the mechanism absorbs vibrations caused by the spinning disc. Fewer vibrations means less error correction is required which, in turn, means you hear the most precise copy possible. The high quality, aluminium casing protects the internal electronics from both vibrations and electrical interference, giving your recordings the best chance of being as close to the original as possible.
