If it’s a discreet speaker you’re looking for then you are looking at possibly the best option there is! With a diameter of just 88mm and a hole mounting of 75mm, these speakers fit straight into the hole usually occupied by a spotlight! This gives endless flexibility, allowing for retro-fit light or sound options all around your home. If the size wasn’t impressive in itself, the grilles can also be painted, blending the speakers in with your ceiling to perfection.
IMPRESSIVE SOUND THROUGH BMR TECHNOLOGY
Using a single, BMR drive unit, the MINX C46 ceiling speakers give pinpoint accuracy and are bursting with detail right up to high volume levels. BMR (Balanced Mode Radiator) technology combines the advantages of both flat panel and conventional speakers. This means that, unlike some small speakers, the MINX C46 ceiling speakers are truly dynamic and won't turn harsh or brittle when the music or film action gets intense. They also fill a much larger area than you might imagine, meaning that you’ll need fewer of them to fill a space with sound. For a truly dynamic sound, just add a subwoofer anywhere in the room.
HIGH STANDARD OF FINISH
Fully tested to IP65 specification, these ceiling speakers are designed to block the passage of dust and water from above. They’re also fitted with an intumescent gasket that swells under exposure from heat to block smoke. The robust casing is built to last and clips into place much as a typical spotlight does. Speaker cable is easily attached via the colour-coded spring clips: no tools required.
