Unique design
Rather than selecting a single column or open design, Custom Design has combined the two for the best of both worlds! The large central column adds mass to the design for a deep and powerful bass, which can be increased still further by adding a suitable filler. Where the FS104 Signature differs from other designs is with the addition of four outer columns. These improve the rigidity of the stand still further and allow your speakers to sound exceptionally detailed and spacious.

Like other Custom Design stands, the FS104 Signature speaker stands are handmade and finished in the UK. They include 4mm thick base and top plates and hand polished steel for a professional finish. The sophisticated design in black fits unobtrusively alongside most similarly finished hi-fi and AV equipment.

I was recommended these stands by John at Richer Sounds Stockport. I took them home, opened them up, really excited, very well packed, instructions very easy to follow, filled them with the sand (optinal extra) they charge the sound and performance of my Rubicon 2 speakers. Highly recommended. 5⭐

Looks and performance
My KEF LS50s are not a small stand-mounter by any measure yet the FS104s not only provide solid and trustworthy support but they also complement both the look and the sound of the system. Their rigidity and weight (when filled with Custom Design’s Inert Filler) bring out the very best in the LS50s considerable performance while also planting them very firmly on planet Earth. The FS104's satellite design lends them a style and grace that belies their sturdiness.
The FS104s are not designed to fade into the background but rather proudly proclaim their role in the overall system. KEF have recently announced plans for their own stands based on the FS104. Can there be any higher praise ?
