The DALI Rubicon 8C uses active amplification built into the speakers, meaning the only additional box required is a discreet, wireless sound hub for streaming.

Optional control with the Sound Hub or Sound Hub Compact
With the optional DALI Sound Hub or Sound Hub Compact you’re able to connect a myriad of sources. The Sound Hubs connect wirelessly to the speakers at Hi-Res compatible 24bit/96Hz. Once connected you can stream music from your smartphone, tablet or laptop via Bluetooth. A wides range of digital and analogue inputs mean that you can plug in a variety of sources from TV to CD player/streamer and even Chromecast. The regular Sound Hub also features the ability to plug-in additional modules, such as the BluOS, for multiroom connectivity.

Optional Multi-room compatibility via BluOS app and module
With the optional BluOS module you can incorporate these speakers into a BluOS multi-room system. Multi-award-winning BluOS is chosen by many audiophiles for its ability to offer Hi-Res music across a multi-room platform. The highly developed BluOS app lets you access almost any streaming service from your smartphone or tablet. Top quality sound and multi-room convenience are no longer incompatible with the revolutionary BluOS system.

Powerful 250 watts power on tap
The built-in Class D amplifiers are capable of power bursts of up to 250 watts. This makes them easily capable of filling the largest rooms with rich, dynamic music. Designed in conjunction with the speakers, the amplifiers are optimised to get the very best from each driver, giving these fully active speakers sensational sound.

High quality drive units for reduced distortion
At the heart of the Rubicon 8Cs you'll find an SMC (Soft Magnetic Compound) magnet system. This highly specialised feature is designed to provide the most accurate speaker control and ultra-low levels of distortion. Featuring low-loss, wood fibre woofers that are based on DALI's reference grade Epicon speakers and soft dome tweeters, the Rubicon 8C delivers a sound so accurate that it can be truly classed as 'reference' grade.
