Focal’s classic inverted dome tweeter features in these super-smooth sounding speakers. The latest TAM tweeter uses an M-shaped aluminium/magnesium dome for the smoothest harmonics and impressive detail. Combined with the specially contoured surround, it also helps in creating a wide diffusion angle, giving the music a true sense of realism and spaciousness.

Flax bass cones for a natural mid-range
Focal’s woofer unit is equally as innovative as the tweeter. Using flax and glass fibre hybrid construction, the cone is both light and rigid. The unique TMD cone surround acts as the perfect damper, allowing it to move freely while eliminating harmful vibrations. Featuring a wider cabinet and larger bass units, the Aria Evo X N°4 has bottom end power to spare. With twin, 8” woofers per speaker, the bass is powerful enough to match many a subwoofer. It’s not simply all about bass power, however, the highly efficient design ensures a rich, well-balanced sound at lower levels, too, meaning that the sound is more lifelike at all volumes.

Rigid cabinet, with front port for flexible positioning
Featuring ultra-rigid, MDF construction, with curved side panels, the Aria Evo N°4’s cabinet strongly resists resonance. This helps keep the sound as neutral as possible. By placing the bass port at the front rather than the rear of the cabinet, the speakers can be placed closer to the rear wall without losing out on sound quality. Supplied with aluminium alloy stands and spiked feet, the speakers are well isolated from the floor, helping to reduce room resonance and distortion.
